In terms of abortion, for years I have said "I couldn't do it but I support those who make that choice" and that stance made me question if I truly am a feminist. I have concluded that yes, I'm feminist because I recognize and respect those that CHOOSE either option.
Feminism has nothing to do with wanting to have an abortion. It's about realizing that despite everything I should never deny another woman the right to or not to have an abortion. That is the very definition of being pro-choice.
