one foundation of muay thai is alway keep your chin protected even when striking, keep your shoulders covering your chin when throwing straights, and always return your fists back to your temples after throwing a punch, its a good habit to get into, just my opinion anyways
ouch, just wear some padding, handwraps and gloves....you're going to cripple you hands in the long run. Our knuckles weren't made for punching, they're made of lots of tiny bones stuck together, better protect them
-generally i saw u drop ur opposite arm during the punches, it should stay up at ur chin
-same thing for the kicks, the arm on the inside of the kick should come up to ur face instead of dropping it down to ur waist (swinging the outside arm is ok)
-they were all straights other then like 2 shovel punches maybe u should mix in some hooks
Don't worry about people telling you to pivot. Pivoting is the most overrated thing when it comes to kicks. In my honest opinion the pivot is not as crucial as people make it out to be. Watch videos of dutch thai boxers training and they don't always pivot on the ball of their foot. The best advice I would give you would be to slow down your techniques. Try going through the motions more, like for example when you missed that one elbow. Just get the muscle memory down.
just need work on technique and repetitions will take care of that... just have to do it over and over and over again so it becaomes your bodies natural instinct... sometimes ill catch myself walkin around with my left arm like kinda half way up like ima throw a jab lol you can tell you have great athleticism just need to tune the ferrari
Very good fighter you are, you've got the punches done well. But I would work more on the sheer power of your kick you've got it fast but try dropping your kicks into the bag not round house it all the time, or even go for a side kick to confuse the opponent.
Good hand speed and elbows. Need more bend in you back leg when you kick. More waist turning and pushing your hips out as you land your kicks besides that. Excellent work keep it up
Nice man Great work, at the end there when you missed your Elbow you should practice a double or a single leg take down for safety, So in stead of coming right up shoot for a take down and just do a little recooperation. Other then then lookin very solid an good.
at certain spots (not all) it looks kinda like your hitting with the side of your elbow instead of the sharper part. try your best to make a linear arc with your elbow, weather its across, down, up, or diagonally. when you kick anywhere above your waist, try to turn your standing foot toes away from your target. follow through, and use the spring of the knee to "fick" or "whip" your target. dont try to power through with a roundhouse, lock your ankle in place and kick with the instep or ball
when you throw your elbows make sure that you dont chicken wing it. i cant really tell from that angle but thats what it kinda looks like. keep your hands in fists when you kick. your telegraphing that you wanna kick like that.
@Raitsogen thanks. that's actually quite helpful. and you're dead-on with the telegraphing comment -- a few sparring sessions cleaned up my hands considerably. mind elaborating on the elbow strikes comment?
@PVanderston actually your elbows are correct. You weren't chicken winging it. You weren't over turning with your body with it, which is good, because you would have to turn your body back into place and that is a wasted movement. It doesn't take much to cut with an elbow. Your kicks, however, do need some more technical work, but other than that good power and speed
it can be which is why you have to know the hell your doing i've been around alot of fighters and i've seen plenty of broke legs and hands fucked up wrist all of that i've also trained in kyokushin karate which we use no wraps and no gloves no padding at all maybe you should take some training and see what i mean
use gloves :)

I remember my instructors beating me for any 2 hit combos, 3 should always be the minimum!
