Is that a less admirable way of doing things compared to what is done by Manila, ie continually suppressing its own inhabitants through many military campaigns, even after independence? Why don't the Philippines try to find a viable solution with the Moros first, before trying to incorporate Sabah into your borders? Your track record for territorial governance isn't exactly commendable.
