Since this is a hack of FireRed does that mean I'll be able to trade between FireRed and ShinyGold using the Visual Boy Advance Link in the same way that I can trade from FireRed to LeafGreen, Ruby, Emerald and Sapphire?

@Max4Z Unfortunately you have to start over since you didn't change your save type to Flash 128k. What you have to do now is first make sure you're playing ShinyGold Beta 5. Then, delete the .SAV file of your Shiny Gold then on your VBA go to Options > Emulator > Save Type > Flash 128k. After that restart Shiny Gold and you can now save in-game (not save states) and can finally go farther than the Elite 4.

guys it pretty simple, go to a website like cool roms to download the visual boy then just search google for pokemon shiny gold roms, extract it using winrar, open the vba and open it in the folder you saved it in.
