  • please check out my blog on Black Atheism -THE PEOPLE’S MIC

    thepeoplesmic.blogspot.com

I also wrote a blog on the N-word. Please let me know what you think.

  • MC Lyte is NOT a "hip-hop ledgend" SHE'S A ONE-HIT-WONDER!

  • @beloit22 what? she got many hits fool go google it

  • @buggeazy102 She's Aint-Shit....No, wait....she "Is" a Dike.

  • @beloit22 yess she is and ?

  • @buggeazy102 and thats "SHIT" LMAO!

  • why have i got no sound after the first minute?

  • What video is that at 1:20 with the gold star on the white shirt over the booty?

  • Outstanding feedback BET should do more of this

  • Listen to the intellect of everyone on this panel

  • Meylssa ford is so hot, but i think shes got a thing for DR. Dyson. Look at the way she looks at him, she's smitten. She like the intellectual types

  • I understand wat people are sayin on here. Obviously every woman is not a bitch slut or ho but "we" women take offense because that is the only representation of us that we see or hear in hip hop. My bf called this girl a bitch and i said dont call her that. his reply was i dont kno her name personally so shes a bitch. If he didnt know her personally why couldnt he just say that woman or that lady. But no, women in general are automatically categorized as a bitch or ho, which is wrong

  • If you know you ain't a bitch or a ho or a slut then you shouldn't be offended

  • true. when white women are sexual in the seen it doesnt matter. How did britney get that damn award at the vmas. she a bad example. shes not hot and she cant sing.

  • Comment removed

  • americans the most dumb nation of the world ........

  • @MrLegionera I would say a prudish and one sided nation (bringing in race is very one sided and is a red herring). If they bothered picking up a book and read about how women were treated in the past compared to this, they wouldn't have a leg to stand up. At least these women have a choice in the matter.

  • Whats that all about on 7:19?

  • aw, shit,

YOU REALLY GON CUT DR DYSON OFF?

man, you fuckin trippin, let Dr. Dyson do a piece on you, you fake ass bitch, studio pay you to cut off a real dude, let Dr. Dyson tell you whats wrong with you, its the same shit, studio pay you to get naked, studio pay you to act like a bitch

  • Melyssa is Hot And She Interlectual ;D

  • @OfficialJYo you spelled intellectual wrong. Just letting you know.

  • @ILUVJEZUZ94 =D =D =D thanks.. aslong as the msg went across as i meant intellectual ;/

  • I would like to see lil' kim there sitting... I wonder what would she say...

  • Nelly basically said "Girls in video have no home training. morals." AND THE FORMER VIDEO HOE NODS IN AGREEMENT?

  • @PrhofessaX Yeah, I was thinking the same damn thing.

  • Melyssa Ford still got that Civic b?

  • You have to realise every coin has 2 sides u attack nelly but not the women who accept the job willingly and music is a form of entertainment just like movies & tv shows and the direction that the world is going actresses and singers are going(pantyles, using drugs and alchohol) what is there to respect

  • Black women are only found in sexual content? Yeah right... why am I looking at this shit.

  • So Beyonce's Booytlicious (Destiny's Child) isnt a problem

  • man that guy needs to shut up and let the speakers discuss

  • Nelly and T.I. are setting black people back a further 400 years.

  • @odthiambo don't you think the female celebrities are just as bad as he is? Beyonce, shakira, lil kim, nikki minaj, rihanna etc etc. Surely they influence girls more than the ones in the rap videos though they are practically doing the same thing on their videos.

  • real talk..real issues...

  • DYSON was on POINT.....and is it me or did Nelly looked EXTRA nervous in the clip before Melyssa Ford was about to speak...lol.

  • MC LYTE!!!!

    Enough said...

  • illuminatii bro they are mindcontroling us with those videos

  • They even flashed a picture of Tina Turner simply dancing on stage in a dress among the examples of black women being exploited. Come on. I think that all the religious indoctrination of the churches plays a role

  • A woman feeling sexy isn't always degrading though. Sometimes they act like it is I feel. Cause people are scared of sexuality.

  • @dubified89 I know, they're scared; especially Republicans.

  • This is true. Honesty hurts people who don't understand it just never will.

  • illuminati.

  • Cornell West hits it on the head

  • The means never justify the outcome.. The outcome can justify the means. @7:00

  • As a man i respect women. but a hoe is gonna be a hoe. If a hoe is being a hoe who am i as a young man to not let her do it, as we both profit. Its not my place to teach women to be a lady, but as a video director sex sells and THE BILLS HAVE TO BE PAID...INDEED

  • no entiendo todavia ni nunca voy a entender porque consideran en eeuu negras a las dos chicas del principio cuando no lo son, osea, tienen ojos claros y son mas blancas que yo, de origen: si ; pero ya no lo son :/

  • 8:16 LMFAO!!!

  • fucken subliminal messages man.

  • come on, why so serious? the rappers really need to stand for what they're saying in every song. there're just bitches so what?!

  • I bet Dyson can rap a mean freestyle... he has more one liners then Soulja Boy does on hotel coffee tables with Kat Stacks filming

  • @MrTheDodster LMAO NICE ONE..

  • melyssa ford need to go back to being a model i watch this movie of her on bet i just wanted to see her ass didnt give a dam what she was talking bout LMAO TI BEFORE HE WENT TO JAIL

  • dam melyssa ford was so dam fine!!! got dam!!! and dat ass!!! jesus christ smh they dont even really have the women in the vids like they did in the early 2000s they use to have some fine women in there natural beauty now most black women NICKI MINAJ ASSES IS FAKE

  • funny they let nelly be on almost every part smh THEY AINT GOT NO REAL ARTIST ON THERE THEY GOTTA SHITTY RAPPERS ON THERE THE SOUTH KILLED HIP HOP

  • and also, when the professor talked, nelly was like,"shit, what's cerebral capacity?"

  • that girl is smarter than all the rappers on the beat

  • ''you have a great future, but its right behind you''

Haha, i get it. good one :)

  • 7:16 claps fails

  • this nelly is chatting so much shits , i cant believe all those ignorants applauding for nothing lol

  • some people jus ignorant,

  • is it me, or is Nelly out of his god damn mind?!

  • they should stop crying who gives a shit.. they should allow all types and varities of hip hop.. maybe even make a special hip hop called "dark hip hop" ? or something just so people stop complaining... people have the choice to watch porn or a dirty movie... or watch mickey mouse... music should be the same!! its america!!!

  • @xxrob88xx thats the thing though in the mainstream, there's barely any diversity u gotta search for it

  • hahah Melyssa Ford prolly ducked Nellys dick at some point during her career start, Nelly's just stupid take that tape of his cheek and put it on his mouth!

  • melyssa makes some good points...i'd tap that

  • Dr. Eric dyson is a beast!!

  • nelly is the ultimate smooth talker, hes cool anyways, haha

  • What the fuck is wrong with the sound man, fuckin hell

  • wtf? Seriously? Lady-how can she say the girls today aren't doing it with higher aspirations as she had when she did vids? wow! judgement is almighty in your case alone-hey?

  • Melyssa is like WTF did he just call me :D

  • Let people do what they want. Even if the media or videos influence them. If they dont like it they wont do it, if they find it fun and makes them happy let them live the way they want. Nobody should take there freedom of choice and who you are away.

  • Nelly looked nervous as shit 4:13 - 4:16.

  • I dont care on what they show or have in a music vid... i lisn to beats and rhymes.

damn it can be a damn hardcore pron vid i dont care. If the women in the vid is there, its her own choice to be there.! the vids are over rated and uninteresting! i just say beats and rhymes. wicth btw ya never see on TV or radio.

    Go Go Undergroud Hip-Hop!

  • These rappers just need to hold themselves accountable for what they put out. Yes, they won't make the same amount of money. However, going against the grain is never easy and doing what is right has always been a struggle. Look at MLK, Nelson Mandela, and other activists. They went against what was considered the norm and they got all HELL from it. It's about integrity and morals.

Also, if these rappers have as many "fans" as they believe they have. Money wouldn't be an issue....

  • does this audience get checked up for the proper IQ requirement??? cuz they just keep on clapping to whatever nelly says....it's like they r gettin paid to do it.....or r they?????

  • There's too much talking.

When are we going to start shooting the rappers?

  • Women make choices if we dont want to be in videos then dont be in them. Stop waiting for rappers and men to make things better and talk to the women.

  • do you know the struggle some of these women go thru ? NO! for some women all they have is there looks and there body who do u think is gonna hire a 10th grade drop out! we have to survive the best way we know how so if that means selling yourself short then so be it ! where the hell is all our black men in jail with a white women or they are gay so stay strong

  • It's HOW MANY WOMEN THAT DOES IT THAT GETS THEM TO COMPLAIN!

  • females are going to dress like sluts in real life without the rap videos. my generation is just going down the drain. more and teenage pregnancy!

  • @Videofreak518 just stfu and continue watching chack norris on your page

  • @Videofreak518 I don't get it though people always talking about theres more pregnancy and all but what happen in back in day when females had like 8 to 12 kids? like wtf age do you think they started having babies in most likely in their teens so is this something new?

  • @Videofreak518 What a fucking idiot, teen pregnacy was far higher in the past. A 13 year old was banged by a 30 year old (if he lived long enough) and it was perfectly acceptable. You people make me sick with this 'my generation' bullshit. Our generation should be the last to be criticized. Pick up a fucking history book you prudish prick.

  • Im glad that Melissa is so articulate

  • yo its MC LyTE omg man i love her song Georgy Porgy omggg

  • Dyson has a mouth like an Ak-47!

  • Blame Marilyn Monroe

  • All you got to sacrifice is Time and Money. That's all. They making it sound hard and all that.

  • The Big Deal is that your daughter might get up and do something like that at an young age. It might not be BET or MTV that might accept it but YOUTUBE will!

  • They really don't need anyone else up on that panel but Dr. Dyson lol. There's cadence and truth in his words every time he speaks.

  • As long as men want to look at half naked women, there will always be women who will want to be looked at...

This is only an issue for unhappy, low elf-esteem women who want to go on a man-blaming quest to busy their otherwise unspectacular existences.....

    /

    That Dyson guy is corny...

  • @supahdupahguy81 Don't get mad because he has a better vocabulary compared to yours.

  • @TEEYEASCHOOLS

wow you sure got me there, yes i have many a sleepless night agonizing over my inferior volcabulary, what are you doing wasting your "talents" on youtube? you should go into psychology...

    --____--

But lets face it, judging by your contributions here, both mine & his vocab are far superior to yours....

  • @supahdupahguy81 We both know that's a lie.

  • @supahdupahguy81 or women fighting the illusion of media

  • @inuyashafan1235

If television didn't exist, women would still take their clothes off for men....it's called human nature...

Besides, if media imagery in rap bothers them so much, why don't they just change the channel??

  • @supahdupahguy81 true but their point is can they show women particulary black people in other ways besides shaking their booties and dressin like sluts

  • 4:13 "man i wanna hit that"

  • "i don't think it's a bad thing to be in a music video...I LOVE MUSIC VIDEOS!"

  • You know who seems to always make it a race thing against blacks? Other blacks... I dont see the difference between a black woman actin sexy in a video or a white woman actin sexy in a video... the way i see it is its just a WOMAN actin sexy....

  • to help get in her through college mmmmhmmm couldn't get a normal job ? #jussayin

  • Before we used to blame the white men for had slavery us, What happen with the msg from:Bessie Coleman, Maya Angelou, Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks, W.E.B. Du Bois, Louis Farrakhan, Huey P. Newton, etc.

  • Nelly wins the battle for hip-hop single-handed - he rips every hater in every one of these vids :)

  • @FodbolddrengenPedro I feel like Nelly dodged the question. He seemed like a young kid who gets caught acting up by his teacher, and says "Look what THOSE guys did as well". Or when the teacher brings a student aside because his marks are slipping, and he says "It's not against the school's RULES to get bad marks..."

  • @FodbolddrengenPedro I don't agree with what you said. Nelly was being such a hypocrite in this, along with every other video he was in. How can he say that he respects women, yet portray women in derogatory, disrespectful ways in his music videos and songs? He is both lying to himself and to every woman that gets offended by what he produces. If he really respected women, he would change his lyrical content, and his music videos, but until then, he will always be a hypocrite and a liar.

  • @odthiambo nelly dosent really care anyway and he has a bunch of money all hes doin is tryin not to destroy his image.GEt money nigga fuck the rest y you worryin about chicks being shown as hoes nigga u gay?

  • @odthiambo Nelly is not a hypocrite - THE MEDIA IS!The media is addressing an issue that it not just specific to music. Music falls in the category of Entertainment, so does acting, porn, books, tv shows, movies, video games, etc. There are far worse influences then HIP HOP. You can just pin point one person, race, genre of entertainment, it would be the whole entertainment business you have to criticize and blame. Society has to stop pointing fingers, when the problem starts from home/ parents

  • @odthiambo Because you're in a video, doesn't mean you DISRESPECT women. Because Stephen Spieldberg makes horror movies doesn't mean he kills. Because I work at McDonalds doesn't mean I can't be a vegetarian. You ride roller coasters for what? ENTERTAINMENT. I myself write music for entertainment. As Eminem said, if you really think he's killing, then you're the one that's dying. Everyhing on your tv is entertainment. Even Thomas Jeff said the realest thing in the newspaper are advertisements

  • @odthiambo His job is ENTERTAINMENT. Reality shows are full of lies. Gameshows are full of lies. However, if you believe this, then you are the lie. That means everything through your "IDIOTBOX" you believe. Rappers have stage names, that means they are acting. Everything in the video is created by the DIRECTOR. Nelly doesn't put the chicks in the video. Otherwise he'd film himself. It's a cast of professionals with MASTER's/BACHELOR degrees behind the camera. I mean seriously now...

  • @odthiambo Why do you women feel like if one woman is "disrespected," all are. Is this not more sexist than the man "disrespecting" the woman? Biologically men are geared to go after women for their fertility status (hip to waist ratio, breasts, buttocks) and women go after men for social status to know that he can take care of her children. Treating women as sex objects is no more disrespectful than women reading romance novels which treat men as status symbols. Yet we men don't cry about it.

  • @michaelchristopherj Preach on brotha!

  • @michaelchristopherj Finally a sensible comment on these videos.

  • @michaelchristopherj at the end of the day...what it boils down to is money. Its not the rappers conceiving these videos...its the producers and the record companies. SEX SELLS. The Porn industry is a 2 billion dollar industry...so heres all these record producers sayin hey...lets get a piece of this money! So they started this trend of degrading women knowing that combining it with money and power depictions in the video would sell their record.

  • @michaelchristopherj yeh its easy for you to say that but in reality more advanced minds would know that is so dumb you are just backing yourself and other men like you.

  • we see that middle finger melyssa

  • booty shakin is an art form.

  • Melyssa Ford is sexy and educated...damnn she's fine.

  • "we can look at this woman who is ebony, ecstasy, enfurled in coffee flesh, but" when i seen that on tv i was like this dude is interesting. that would buy you a minute or two with a stuck up chick trying to get rid of you. haha.

  • put more videos : )is interesting the many ideas in this show.big up

  • NELLY IS MAD :D

  • this is n't about HipHop, this is about money.... the profes said it in 3:45 min of this video... its about the money dummy, hahahaha its the american way. or you can stay in the block or broonks, crocks. daaa

  • i got a boner

  • This is the stupidest statement...white people have half naked women in the video and there ALL WHITE...play boy is on TV all day and every day and you see no black women in them, when yo watch the majority of movies its all white women with no clothes on.....its how the media sexualises WOMEN full stop and FYI hip hop these days has latino women from start to finish ....hardly any black women at all

  • I am the one who should be upset..."because of Buffy the Body's" "gluteus-emphasis on maximus" being so "enticingly voluminous" I can't ask her out on a date...BECAUSE...she has used it to make so much money that she doesn't live down the street from me anymore...Answer: I should have married her when she was not "Buffy the Body" and kept her "enticingly voluminous" "gluteus emphasis on maximus" home and broke and let her fall apart like a normal human being...sounds reasonable and...parental?

  • So, the question is where did it come from....and how is this about black people? What about chippendales....what about the fifty billion dirty stripper holes in The U.S.A. filled with all kinds of women....mostly white I dare to say! Frequency and percentage is the key....some people like some things/some people like other things/aome people are not doing but planning for to do...that is the key...if half the people are "doing" and the other half are"planning for to do" then there is division.

  • @btlrecord00 it doesent matter they get a pass because theyre white

  • I think it's strange how there's a difference between the skinny people and the not skinny people and thier opinion......SKINNY PEOPLE DO NOT WANT TO GET FAT AND SHAKE AROUND! I THAT IS ALL THEY ARE ARGUING ABOUT! "I'VE DONE ALOT OF WORK TO GET "HERE"! HOW CAN SHE BE PROUD TO HAVE HER "UNACCEPTABLE BODY PART PUT IN THE FOREGROUND!?" What's smaller is that they are essentially saying that the "body part" is "mind control"!

    I think it's true. It's flesh trade. It's a show.TQ: is it choice/nature

  • YouTube is starting to get boring.

  • The host is a bit of a douchebag, no?

  • @o0Mav0o he keeps cutting them off when the debate is really picking up the pace. i really like this idea of debate of hip hop and i think there should be more shows like this because it makes people ask questions about what they are doing, who they are looking up to and why they do the things that they in order to become famous because most of the stuff that we know about rappers is usually in the form of sound bites which makes it impossible to fully understand who they really are as a person.

  • just watched the Tip Drill video, dam

  • WAIT did this faggot nelly sell the audience sum BS and there clappin at 7;30 WOW black people started off fucked up but now were doomed with guys like this influcencing the next gen.

  • i dont listen 2 video whores its like once your labeled a whore you have no rights as a human being to me

  • peep Michael Eric Dyson dropping knowledge WHILE kicking game to Ms. Ford lol @8:29

but to me this series was the best thing BET put out in a while

  • everything nelly says they clap. I love him as a rapper but they need to actually listen to what he says and stop being followers #lame

  • @killakris08 I'm a fan of conscious Hip-Hip and really don't like Nelly but they were clapping because he was making valid points, not just because he's Nelly.

  • @killakris08 what do you mean thats lame? the audience is clapping b/c nelly is speaking the truth .. people are on his back for no reason and for the most part the other people on the stage are really out of pocket w/ this psuedo intellectual bull shit

  • @andretheking86, nelly may be making alot of sense but what else would you expect for him to say.? do you really think he is gonna speak against the source in which he makes his money....no way!!!!

  • @summersbr1 of course not .. its his career lol .. my thing is idk why people are so critical of these rappers, they have every right to make whatever music they want

  • @andretheking86, obviously you are a big fan of hip hop when you have to ask why are people are so critical of rappers. Brotherman you only have to do one thing and thats simply open your eyes and look around you, then open your ears and listen. You can see and hear the heavy influence that hip hop has on the current generation and it isnt very good. Look at how we dress, talk and act. Hip hop has sold our youngsters a product that doesnt promote the best in them but glorifies the worse.......

  • @summersbr1 its not only hip hop that influences only our current generation, since the beginning of the human race culture was heavily influenced around popular culture, mainly music .. i really dont understand what the big deal is .. it seems like it is more of a generation gap issue .. every generation has their own culture and once the generation before them become "old" they feel detached from their kids so they feel the need to attack it .. knowing this, i probably still will do the same..

  • @andretheking86, i know hip hop isnt the only thing infjuencing popular culture, it just happens to be what the subject matter is at this time. But to say its just entertainment and/or fantasy is a misstatement. The younger generation is intoxicated with the whole image and ways of hip-hop, the look, the rebel thug or bad boy behavior, the dress and its reflected not only in music and on stage but acted out in public life. it does nothing tp promote reasonable behavior.

  • @andretheking86, 'BEING REAL" as the youngsters like to say, doesnt mean we have to be nasty, direspectful, vulgar, slouchy and act unlike untamed wild animals but in saying that i ask you again, have you stopped, looked and listened to hip hop generation. What do u see and hear? Even if nellie thought that what he's doing is negative, he's not going to strike out against it because that same negative is making him a living. Is making music a right or a priviledge?

  • @summersbr1 thing to my kids (whatever they listen to) .. and who said being real is being vulgar? i listen to not only a wide range of hip hop, but music in general, i know when rappers are talking about guns and selling and etc aren't really out in the street doing the stuff b/c they would get arrested, the same way i know al pacino wasn't really a drug king pin, its his character, its fantasy, its music, its entertainment .. its only the people that confuse fantasy with reality are at issue

  • @andretheking86, a generational gap?.... well we all know thats a no-brainer but it nothing to do with feeling detached from the younger generation. It has more to do with blatant disrespect and mindless rebellness. In the 60's, the older generation looked at the younger generation as thugs and out of control because they spoke out and made music against the establishnment, which seemed to condone wars, discrimination, hatred and racism, and although the older looked down on them........

  • @summersbr1 well the entire rebellious phase of life is i my age group (teens-young adults), so its not surprising when people who feel the need to rebel and have a "bad boy" image will listen to music that feeds the hunger .. again this is nothing new in society ... and thats what makes me not understand what the big deal is even more .. my parents generation was the most rebellious that i can think of, yet anything and everything we do is bad, maybe you can tell me what the real problem is ...

  • @summersbr1 and why do we always have to make rap and entertainment in general a scapegoat? its funny hearing parents complaining about their kids saying they're out of control, yet the first person they blame aren't the shitty parents taking care of the kids, but they blame whats on their TV, ipod, xbox, dvd etc. they are thinking ass backwards .. and yes as long as these artists are living in the US, and as long as there is a 1st amendment right, they have a RIGHT to make whatever they want

  • @andretheking86, they (the hippies, young blacks, etc) were not wrong in their messages. The older was used to the status quo and what was being done made them very uncomfortable. Too many rap artist today fail because they embrace negativity with emphasis on excessivesness, sex and gang-banging and seem to glorify rebel "hood life". Some rapper do have a message but we need more to encourage self-worth and decency since they do fall upon millions of young gullible ears all over this country

  • @summersbr1 and again, making songs about sex is nothing new .. the generation you're praising right now started the entire "sexual revolution" lol .. rap isn't the first form of entertainment that was about thugs and gangs, look at western cowboy movies... and if by excessiveness do you mean materialism? b/c that has been around literally since the first form of currency was made, i really dont see a problem with any of this.... and again its up to the listener to know whats real and fake ...

  • @andretheking86, and i do agree that it all starts with the parents but what is wrong with everyone that has a voice (entertainers, politicians, teachers,, ministers, etc) to assume some level of responsibility that our kids arent getting the wrong messages from them. You cant think that parents can do it all by themselves, its impossible. Thats what the african proverb was emphsizing when it says, "it takes an entire village to raise a child". I should care for your kid when you arent there

  • @summersbr1 and you're right, people are a product of their environment .. maybe if artists like the ones being interviewed in the video lived in a stable home, they wouldn't be using their talents to talk about the things you and other adults are so upset about .. what came first, the chicken or the egg?

  • @summersbr1 another thing, why is it that when james bond blows up a building, theres movies about the mafia doing countless crimes, tony montana sniffing/selling mountains of coke, a tv show with hugh heffner passing sluts like its turkey on thanks giving, rock songs talking about drinking and partying, it isn't a big deal or its a "masterpiece" yet when black artists do the same thing they are "destroying black culture" and consistently being blamed for a overly hyped problem?

  • It's two years later since this video was put up. Looking back at hip hop, I'm glad it's dead. We need a rebirth of our culture and not to let the Music Industry white pimps exploit it.

By the way...T.I. and Nelly are morons. And I wouldn't let my children listen to anything they have to sing or rap about.

  • Comment removed

  • I'd say that about 20% of that audience understoof the latent message in the proffesor's bit, to bad for them.

  • what the fuck does nelly think he is talking about

  • Damn Dr.Dyson is the shit,I haven't seen or heard a brother break an situation down like this man....good damn job.

  • nelly is an idiot.

  • the intro was hard!

  • Ooooooow! The young lady interviewed on the bloody......I mean... red carpet (beginning) said more than a mouthful. THAT'S what's real!

  • 2:06 What's the name of that video?

  • you my boy talking all intelligently refraining from using the words buttt and booty

  • why aint people complain about Beyonce's booty and videos? These haters should leave hip hop alone!

  • @MrQuintts Beyonce is a fraud, and hip hop sucks.

  • yo images keeping popping up for a split second. 7:19 there on some of the other videos aswell what are they for. Seriously i don't want subliminal messages flashing at me when i'm deciding on a debate influencing me.

  • Why is everyone clapping so much?

  • ebony ecstacy encurrled in cofee flesh lmao

  • Parents, artists, video girls, directors and fans are all at fault. If everyone took some stake and said i will take responsibility for this problem, instead we all point fingers at everyone else. It takes a village to raise a child and whether we admit it or not we are all a part of the same village. Also we have to reach out and teach our children self respect so these videos don't destroy their ideas of themselves.

  • hip hop vids are soft core porn.
