There was no way that Andrtew Meyer was going to end this peacefully. He had it planned, and he carried out those plans. The police were totally professional and justified in their actions. Someone posted that Meyer's family lost $250,000.00 on lawyers, trying to sue. It serves him right, the kid is a punk.

@mamacornettesmoney He wasnt grabbed by the neck? Gently grabbed? If seen cops making a arrest that men have there hands behind there back and still get away. Was that cop grabbing him gently? @evanlikestoparty NO, it was an organized Q&A sssion with rules. he broke them and was told to leave. Also, as a student at UF, he is under a binding contract to follow their Code of Conduct. he violated that as well.
he was most certainly trespassing when he refused to leave. Also, when screaming to the crowd to help him against a lawful action by the cops, he could be, and was, charged with "inciting a riot". that is the law.
He was indeed yelling & cussing BEFORE the vid. look it up
@evanlikestoparty LOL Yes, he was yelling. he had already been kicked out for cussing & shoving his way to the mic out of turn, screaming about how he'd be arrested. this was the Q&A session & it was OVER. He flipped out & they agreed to let him ask 1 question before leaving. Just look it up. It's fairly well documented.
"Inciting a riot" is one of the charges because of screaming to the crowd to help him against the cops. that falls under the law if you read it.
@Mooknuc1 No, obviously he was NOT arrested for asking a question.
They didn't arrest him until over a minute later for refusing to leave! And the order to vu tthe mic came BEFORE the skull & Bones quesion. The idea that he was arreste dfor that is pure nonsense on so many levels! Just because someone on youtube told you that ws what happened doesn't mean you can't do a little independant research to find out for yourself. Mos tof these vids aren't even the fullest ones available.
@Mooknuc1 There is no video. He didn't pass his camera to the girl until after he caused the disturbance and others didn't know to film him yet.
But there were over 200 winesses and policereports plus interviews with Kerry and Meyer himself abou it. There is no question that he had already been told to leave before the greed to let him ask a question on his way out.
@Mooknuc1 But there WAS legal grounds. Trespassing is illegal. Yelling to a crowded room to help agaist the cops is illegal. All they were doing was removing him. When he physically resited that, he was breaking the law.
that young man's "questions" were just a bizarre rant about secret societies and election conspiracies and other such nonsense. what inane questions. and he went on and on and wouldn't shut up and sit down when asked to do so. he deserved to get tased just for being so lame. how long was everyone supposed to sit there and be subjected to his paranoid schizophrenic rantings and ravings?
POLICE STATE..Silence the educated.....Those moron cops had no right to touch this man. They should both be shot in the head..Those cops and politicians are cowards!!!!!
They werent even arresting him. He was being a dousche and they were removing him. At no point did they place him under arrest. Had he have gone quietly, he would have been free to go once he was out of the building. What a stupid dumbass
@ktommer he didn't do anything harmful to be kicked out of there, he was just speaking in a loud firm voice with the only intention of finding answers to his questions.
For all the idiots out there calling this guy a pussy....
This guy was taken down BECAUSE HE ASKED QUESTIONS! He didn't swear, he didn't curse, he wasn't even RUDE. He waited HIS TURN to step up to the mic and ask some SERIOUS QUESTIONS that he wanted answered.
And what does he get? Held down on the ground and tazed while the crowd laughs.
How can you be such idiots to join in with the crowd? Do you want to live in a police state? Do you enjoy seeing someone's rights taken away?
What a pussy???!!! Hey, wake up people!! Can't you see you're going straight down into National Socialism!!! Wake up before is too late! Also Search: Poison in yor water, in your food, in your air, in your veins. OPEN YOUR EYES PROZAC NATION!!!!!
Whoops. Canada. Should have known better. Hello reggieworth sockpuppet acount number 182937832783496547381056478206574802567483056473805643782504367580436257840362574830256473
Because the greatness of America has nothing to do with who is president. The greatness has to do with the fact that we are free to say just about anything we like (so long as it does not directly result in harm to others (fire in a crowded room where there is none, for instance)).
And most Americans do not claim the US is the greatest country in the world, just the only one that we would like to live in.
For those who cannot handle personal responsibility, there are better places.
@macman237 dude have you ever been tased befor? youd have to be tough just to say ow it hurts like fuck i got tazed becuase i said was your wrong (becuase i got pulled over for speeding and i swear to god i wasn't) he thought i was going 12 miles over the speed limit
his etiquette in this public forum was poor. poor journalism. sure he's have done the research, and he has some facts on the issue..... but obviously he was not ready to challenge his opponent.
u dont stand up and fire questions which ppl can assume by ur tone, u already have ur mind. it comes across as though u are accusing. true interrogation spins a web and watches the fly get caught up in that web *without bias.* to me, it seems like he's looking for fame as the big bad reporter
Yes, he had already gotten himself thrown out before the video starts as well for shoving, cussing and yelling at Kerry out of turn.
They told him he could ask one question then leave but he was clearly interested in putting on a show for his camera (which someone else was holding for him).
You don't have, and never have had, the right to attend a forum, ignore their rules & stay after they tell you to leave.
Continue to be intentionally obtuse if you wish... or stupid if you can't help it.
Meyer got exactly what he deserved & the police acted correctly in every respect. Which is why meyer was convicted, the police were found to have acted correctly in multiple investigations, and the ACLU ran for the hills when it came time to file a civil rights suit.
A forum is freedom of speech. He didn't throw anything. They grabbed him....I don't like being grabbed either...the cops use force. That's why he's snatching away- it probably hurts and he's not 3 years old. Then they are pushing him out. It's why he says "what have I done."
I honestly like guys like him.
Others go into a forum and bite their tongue...it's why things don't change. people say what they think people want to hear.
Freedom of speech is not unlimited. The supreme court has addressed this particular situation. Vulgar speech and disruptive behavior in forums are not protected speech (cases Bethel & Tinker).
The upshot is that the organizer (or host, or property owner) of a forum has the right and obligation to establish rules for discourse in a forum. So long as the rules are applied equally, then they may eject anyone violating their rules.
Effectively, you have freedom of speech until you (1)
We can agree to disagree whether he should be removed or not. But what I am sure is not in question is the right of the organizers to eject people violating their rules, and the obligation of the police to enforce the law.
The use of the taser is another debate. I happen to support, because I have seen how suspect & police injuries during arrest have plummeted in Atlanta over the last 10 years since the intro of the taser.
If you violate the forum rules, they have the right to eject you. Refusing to go is trespassing, and they may remove you.
If you don't agree with the forum rules or their administration, challenge them in court. Resisting the police at that time, however, will earn you nothing but bruises and charges.
I am VERY familiar with the legal questions because I run forums to answer medical questions at the hospital (2)
(2) and periodically we get people who try to hijack the forum (HIV denial and vaccine conspiracy nuts mostly).
It wasn't until I lost my temper with an attendee and bodily removed him myself, that I found out what my rights were. He tried to charge me with assault, and it turned out he didn't have a case because I had instructed him to leave for cause, and he did not. He was trespassing, and I was the legal agent representing the property (3)
I was advised to have officers present in the future, because I COULD have gotten into serious trouble if he had been hurt, or if I didn't have dozens of eyewitnesses attending the forum who testified to the fact that I first asked him to go, and warned him I would remove him.
With Meyer's behavior, had it been my forum, he would have never made it to the mic.
They dude was fuckin retard. Who would dare insult a government official in front his fellow man, the official himself, and an entire firing squad of cops/security guards.
I never saw the video of what he was asking before...what a moron. Did he seriously ask Kerry to call for Bush's impeachment because they disagreed on foreign policy?
The moment meyer violated the forum rules he lost the right to be present at the forum. The organizers were right to throw him out. He was free to say anything he liked on the way out the door.
Tinker & Bethel have have made it clear that forum organizers can toss out vulgar & disruptive people.
Meyer's rights weren't violated. He had no legal leg to stand on which is why his ACLU lawyers told him to plead guilty & pray that was all that happened to him.
wow. This poor kid has to live with his childish and ill tempered attempt at reciting things he heard on the internet loudly to John Kerry and a room full of annoyed onlookers.
"It doesn't really fucking matter if he "deserved it" or not" Actually it does. If he didn't deserve it, he wouldn't have been convicted, and the police would be in trouble.
But fortunately for us, he video'd his own behavior so there is no question. He violated the forum rules & wasdisruptive. Was warned multiple times & then got tossed out.

That is brutally obvious. Funny you make accusations about other people markign you spam, and when I come back to this forum, you have marked everyone else spam. Perhaps we should treat you the way you treat others.

sweetsabrina23 - Hmmm. Answering people's questions, or spending Friday & Saturday nights creating imposter accounts of nousides, humanshot, and half a dozen others & spending the entire weekend spamming fake comments?
Because really, ROFLOL, THAT is pathetic. That is time to go swimming with crocodiles & playing in traffic time. That is a life so unencumbered by anything of worth that it is no life at all sabrina.
The first amendment has never been a license to violate other people's rights. This is a perfect example of that principle.
When meyer attended the forum, he agreed to their rules. When he broke their rules & refused to leave, he was trespassing. Which is a crime. The police removed him. The entire incident was meyer's choice & meyer's fault.
Those saying meyer's rights were violated are simply displaying their ignorance of their civil rights. A sign of poor critical thinking skills.
DO you know how hollow and pathetic sabrina / reggieworth / bullcur's life is? She spent the weekend making imposter accounts to harrass people. Nousidess to harass Nousides & such.
Now she is marking everyone else's comments spam, because she isn't smart enough to debate them.
If my life were that hollow, it would be over. I can't imagine being that bored.
"why he was being arrested" Meyer was ejected by ACCENT for repeatedly violating their rules. He refused to leave, which violated several laws & his student code of conduct. The police informed him he had no choice in the matter, that he could walk out on his two feet or be removed by force. He decided to resist them, and they arrested him, using a taser to subdue him when he started flailing around & the danger of injury increased
You can tell sabrina / reggieworth / bullcur & her 50 accounts are busy here marking anyone with common sense spam.

Meyer pled guilty to two misdemeanors & the officers were found to have acted correctly in two seperate investigations.
No civil rights case has been brought forth b/c Meyer's rights were not violated.
Get a grip people.
Vulgar speech & disruptive behavior in forums are not protected speech (Tinker v. Des Moines and Bethel v. Fraser), both of which have been applied to colleges & forums in other rulings).
Had he simply respected the rules of the forum & left when asked like an adult, none of this would have happened.
"no idea why he was being arrested" He was ejected by ACCENT (the forum organizers) for repeatedly violating their rules.
When he refused to leave, he was in violation of several laws. The police attempted to simply escort him out & send him on his way, but he was having none of that. At that point they placed him under arrest & he continued resisting >> taser.
People claiming "rights violated": You are wrong. And if Meyer or the ACLU truly believed otherwise, they could bring a case to court. They won't, ironically thanks to Meyer's video... which proves his rights were not violated.
Meyer chose to violate the rules of the forums, and learned the hard way that organizers of designated forums can indeed set the rules at their forums, but they can forbid vulgar language and remove disruptive people.
"no-body cares" It is really simple. Meyer agreed to the forum rules when he attended. He kept violating the rules & was warned he would be ejected. The final straw was his saying "blowjob" so they ejected him.
He resisted the police escorting him out & became more disruptive, so they placed him under arrest. He resisted the arrest, and they tased him to subdue him so they could cuff him.
Then he was charged & pled guilty to two misdemeanors & the officers were cleared.

but we had sex before? why are you talking like this? dont you love me anymore? i am touching my snake now, its all hard and ready to squirt my screen with its contents. try and imagine it, try and pretend its you i am hitting with my sperm. if your not ready to commit then i will look for somebody else to agree with me. so if anyone agrees that this guy deserved to be tazed just say so now so i can rub my snake and whack off. maybe gay sex too. if your lucky. thanks
ccr5cxr4 i dont want to have sex with you stop forcing yourself on me. i am not gay. i merely like to wear girls underpants and chat online. im trying to be serious here. just because we both agree with each other does not mean i am gay.

meyer was convicted, the police found to have acted correctly, and the ACLU & meyer's lawyers ran for the hills when it came time to file a civil rights case because SCOTUS has ruled that forum organizers can remove vulgar or disruptive people (Bethel & Tinker). So this was an assertion of the organizer's, university's and other attendee's rights, not a violation of meyers.

its just a question. i am not gay at all. anyway, back to the video. he broke the rules. does anyone want to see my snake? its packed neatly in the netted fluffy girls panties. i jerk off to myers saying dont taze me bro. oh makes me quiver with delight. dont y'all agree?

Meyer violated the rules of the forum & was ejected. The organizers had the right to set the rules & enforce the rules. This has been tested in the Supreme Court & ejecting Meyer was well within their rights.
The rest of this comedy results from Meyer's choice to resist his ejection, and then his arrest.
And I agree with Nousides. What the fuck kind of pathetic, lonely cunt would make a bunch of imposter accounts & stalk people.
I mean you REALLY need to get a life if that is your idea of entertainment nousidess / bullcur / paadra / madgra / reggieworth / jessiejanejessiejane / sweetsabrina23
They were correct to forcibly remove him. His rights were not violated. My evidence? All the bitching and moaning, and Meyer was still convicted, and no civil rights suit to be seen.
It is real simple > Meyer agreed to the forum rules > then he broke the rules > they told him to go > he refused > the police arrested & forced him to go
Upholding the rights of the organizers & every other attendee to the forum.
Vulgar speech & disruptive behavior in forums are not protected speech (Tinker v. Des Moines and Bethel School District v. Fraser, both of which have been applied to colleges & forums in other rulings).

But there were over 200 winesses and policereports plus interviews with Kerry and Meyer himself abou it. There is no question that he had already been told to leave before the greed to let him ask a question on his way out.

Yes, he had already gotten himself thrown out before the video starts as well for shoving, cussing and yelling at Kerry out of turn.
They told him he could ask one question then leave but he was clearly interested in putting on a show for his camera (which someone else was holding for him).
tobiasrobbins72 2 years ago
You don't have, and never have had, the right to attend a forum, ignore their rules & stay after they tell you to leave.
Continue to be intentionally obtuse if you wish... or stupid if you can't help it.
Meyer got exactly what he deserved & the police acted correctly in every respect. Which is why meyer was convicted, the police were found to have acted correctly in multiple investigations, and the ACLU ran for the hills when it came time to file a civil rights suit.
Nousides 2 years ago
I dont' agree!!!
There's freedom of speech.
If you notice in most of these videos, people don't get rowdy until the police touches them.
it's natural reaction.
Because someone is speaking, he's angry at the way something is being run.
The sad thing is...if Im in power, and don't want to hear it, I have him escorted. It's like me duct taping his mouth. unfair.
The cops started grabbing him. He said get off. They are nothing but humans with uniforms, why bruise the man?
CALICOTV301 2 years ago
A forum is freedom of speech. He didn't throw anything. They grabbed him....I don't like being grabbed either...the cops use force. That's why he's snatching away- it probably hurts and he's not 3 years old. Then they are pushing him out. It's why he says "what have I done."
I honestly like guys like him.
Others go into a forum and bite their tongue...it's why things don't change. people say what they think people want to hear.
CALICOTV301 2 years ago
Freedom of speech is not unlimited. The supreme court has addressed this particular situation. Vulgar speech and disruptive behavior in forums are not protected speech (cases Bethel & Tinker).
The upshot is that the organizer (or host, or property owner) of a forum has the right and obligation to establish rules for discourse in a forum. So long as the rules are applied equally, then they may eject anyone violating their rules.
Effectively, you have freedom of speech until you (1)

Well played sir, well played!
CALICOTV301 2 years ago
We can agree to disagree whether he should be removed or not. But what I am sure is not in question is the right of the organizers to eject people violating their rules, and the obligation of the police to enforce the law.
The use of the taser is another debate. I happen to support, because I have seen how suspect & police injuries during arrest have plummeted in Atlanta over the last 10 years since the intro of the taser.
ccr5cxcr4 2 years ago
Huh? No...I've already agreed!
I said "well played." Well explained and understood...

CALICOTV301 2 years ago
(1) violate the rights of others around you.
If you violate the forum rules, they have the right to eject you. Refusing to go is trespassing, and they may remove you.
If you don't agree with the forum rules or their administration, challenge them in court. Resisting the police at that time, however, will earn you nothing but bruises and charges.
I am VERY familiar with the legal questions because I run forums to answer medical questions at the hospital (2)
ccr5cxcr4 2 years ago
(2) and periodically we get people who try to hijack the forum (HIV denial and vaccine conspiracy nuts mostly).
It wasn't until I lost my temper with an attendee and bodily removed him myself, that I found out what my rights were. He tried to charge me with assault, and it turned out he didn't have a case because I had instructed him to leave for cause, and he did not. He was trespassing, and I was the legal agent representing the property (3)
ccr5cxcr4 2 years ago
(3) I did not hurt him, simply removed him.

"Constitutional rights to ASK QUESTIONS" You have no constitutional right to ask questions on my property. That is your basic failure to understand.
And you are free to believe what you want. YOUR belief will result in your arrest if you act like Meyer.
The fact is that the forum organizers have the sole constitutional rights to set the rules for their forum & throw out anyone who violates them.
Your failure to accept or understand reality is your problem.
Nousides 2 years ago
Exactly.
Balthusdire2008 2 years ago
The moment meyer violated the forum rules he lost the right to be present at the forum. The organizers were right to throw him out. He was free to say anything he liked on the way out the door.
Tinker & Bethel have have made it clear that forum organizers can toss out vulgar & disruptive people.
Meyer's rights weren't violated. He had no legal leg to stand on which is why his ACLU lawyers told him to plead guilty & pray that was all that happened to him.

He pled guilty & served probation

The rest of this comedy results from Meyer's choice to resist his ejection, and then his arrest.

Meyer pled guilty to two misdemeanors & the officers were found to have acted correctly in two seperate investigations.
No civil rights case has been brought forth b/c Meyer's rights were not violated.
Vulgar speech & disruptive behavior in forums are not protected speech (Tinker v. Des Moines and Bethel School District v. Fraser, both of which have been applied to colleges & forums in other rulings).
Welcome to reality.

You really have nothing better to do than make impersonation accounts to harrass people? That is beyond pathetic. I cannot imagine what a sad, empty "life" you have. It is no wonder you are alone, desperate for attention and depressed beyond words. I pity you.

I can't imagine more pathetic behavior. Impersonating people so you can post nasty things on youtube... Who do you think you are fooling?
But I suppose it is a bit understandable given the content of your posts. You lack the intelligence to debate.
