I also get some pretty ignorant comments but hey........I'm in the drivers seat and just for your own records I have NEVER had an accident nor ever caused one in over 25 years of driving. Stick that in your pipe and smoke it.  :-)

It merges to 1 lane and it took you 48 secs to get through the construction. The Cop is there to for pedestrian traffic (sidewalks are also under construction) and to hold traffic when machinery is going out of the construction lane. The cop also helps people be more willing to merge. Granted the cop could have stood right at the merge and directed alternating cars into the merged lane but sometimes this creates more confusion as cars will slow down more. Obviously you are upset at police.

Obviously you are sadly mistaken. My wallet is upset at the system for milking everything that it can out of us citizens. Toronto needs a major correction and it could start with the TPS at almost a Billion Dollars a year in cost to Toronto. The TPS budget is just plain old O-B-S-C-E-N-E.
