@DonZaka93 The problem is wrong, the way he works on it is right but the mistake was when he added the totals of the observed values, he set 300 and 200, when in reality the totals are 270 and 230 (therefore screwing up the calculation of expected values, and result of x2)
Which part are you talking about, the expected total for boys who liked blue? We're trying to find how many out of the 500 we would have expected to fall into that cell, which would be 72.
thats wrong,,,, the x2 total is actually 259.79
