  • I don't want that in my vagina o.o lol everything else sounds good... but it just sounds somewhat inconvenient, at least to me. Although I might get on it, idk yet.

  • Did a doctor say it was alright to insert it that way? Does any one else insert with this method?

  • Whenever I subscribe to a channel I always like to go back and see what it was like in the beginning. Always a funny comparison.

  • oh crap i remember this video but up until just now i didnt realize it was you :O

  • I was 10 when this video came out.............

  • I Love this thing.. It's so much better than remembering those damn pills AND wearing the patch that looks like a nicotine patch, and there's no way in hell they're injecting that damn poisonous (in my opinion) birth control shit in me either..NUVARING ALL THE WAY BABY!!!

  • I have horrible skin. The NuvaRing gave me the silkiest, creamiest, clearest skin I have ever had.

  • Can you actually fold it like that? In two circles like she did? or is that not safe? The label says to pinch it and put it in but i did it the ways she folded in the video but it hasn't popped. I'm not sure if that is okay or not?

  • I've been on the Nuva Ring since the beginning of 2009. My doc told me the side effect were mild. It did help with my cramps and its convenient with the dates. THE SIDE EFFECTS on me have been horrible and i just made the connection as in like right before wrote this. I was always happy and got excided over anything and everything rarely ever got mad or upset. I have gained about 50 lbs since I started. Mood swings, depression and weight gain were my major side effects.

  • @whateverme86 omg really?

  • i love the sex-positive videos you make. It's appreciated. My ex-wife used the ring for years with no problems WHATSOEVER. You also don't have to take a pill the same time every day. No one wants to get he crap scared out of them because they just got done and realized she didn't take the pill that day. The ring's really the ebst thing since sliced bread. . . . or the condom. :) keep it up

  • @fuzzynippleman im not saying this to say your wrong. but you have to take the pill within an hour of the same time every day for it to be 99% effective. If you don't it drops down to about 80% or lower. I just dont want anyone to think they can take it whenever they want.

  • My experience with Nuvaring was awesome until I stopped BC altogether. It's been 10 months and my periods have been VERY irregular, almost non-existent. Not I'm worried that I won't be able to conceive. Careful ladies if you ever do want to have children.

  • lol im only 17 and i dont think i should be watching this vid about her birthcontrol stuff -.-

  • do u need a presciption for this or do u have to buy it continuosly

  • now i waqnt to cum in her everytime i watch her videos... lol

  • I love this my girl friend has Ben using this for ever a year. She doesn't really feel it and as for the male I don't feel shit! I'm a lil over average so I can't say about guys who are really big but with the way it opens inside her you don't notice it.

  • @zero8802 Lucky you I do every time

  • idk if id feel comfortable with something in my vagina for 3 weeks at a time o__o

  • @bubblemuffinxp never tried this but i have the merana IUD and you cant feel it at all

  • Got this for my girlfriend few months ago. Works like a charm. We love it ;)

  • gorgeous you are

  • This was my first Laci video. =)

  • you are freaking gorgeous...

  • so you just forget about it? what about when you need to take it out?

  • im goin to get off the depo shot to get da nuva ring da shot is horrible

  • EWWWWWWWWWw you are loosing yor enamel!!lol

  • Can u miss ur period while on nuvaring?

  • Beauty Teeths! :) There are no live demo of the NuvaRing :) haha... Just Kiding!

  • nice hair laci!

  • harry potter poster for the win!

  • After I used depo I was on nuva ring. First thing! If your sexually active and you keep taking the ring out all the time you will get pregnant! A lot of doctors recommend a back up bc if it keep coming out. It was great but it would come out during sex. Then after a couple months it gave me a stroke. So nuva is currently being sued for deaths and injury...

  • I have the nuvaring and I just started using it 3 months ago and I don't put it in like that... The way I was taught to put it in was to squeeze the sides and put it in so it lays against the wall of the vagina. I hate that because it slides down and hurts... I'm not sure I can figure out how to put it in the way you described though

  • i dont have a girlfriend i hit it and quit it ftw!!

  • I LOVE nuva ring!!!! Woot! It's the best and really the first few times my bf and I had sex with it he could feel it after that it just felt normal. For sure I've been on birth control for a long time before I was active due to ovarian cysts and HORRIBLE bleeding! It's amazing!!

  • I know this sounds like regular spam, but you should check out my channel for an iphone game I'm making regarding birth control called 'Ovarium: The Battle Within" It's in the early stages, but you should all like it!

  • @rdelaware excuse you but I am married and faithful to my husband. That is the method of birth control we chose so we do not have children before we are ready.

  • I tried to go on that but the cost of it is way too much because health care doesn't cover the cost of the ring, only the pill. And you are right, the pill sucks big time.

  • You exspland it really well I just got mine for the first time today I had the 3 month shot depo provera it was giving me long periods 3 weeks to a month long. So far the ring went in well and has not come out I cant even feel it in there. I took it out when I was in the shower and washed it a little my doc said it was ok to and put it back in. what I did'n know was that it can be removed for 3 hours thats good thanks for that info and I checked up on it and all ur info is valid good job thanks

  • @CrunchGirl81 I got on the nuvaring 3 months ago after being on the depo shot for 9 months and bleeding nonstop for the end 4. I like the nuvaring because it behaves well 90% of the time. Sometimes it's irritating though.

  • so, you're saying that nuvaring doesn't have side effects? All hormonal birth control works the same way by releasing synthetic hormones into the body. Pills are absorbed in the stomach while nuvaring releases them through the mucous membranes in the vagina. YOU STILL GET THE SAME SIDE EFFECTS AS THE PILL. Different people react to different formulations differently. This girl just happens to react well to that particular formula.

  • Does it come out and if it does is it because you inserted it wrong ?

  • I tried nuvaring but it didn't work for me because it was a little bit uncomfortable, all the time the ring was falling down through the vagina and i wasn't sure if i was using in the correct way, may be i didn't know how to put it , i've never have tried during the relation but that's all i can say about nuva ring!!

now i'm thinking to try it again cause you are giving me hope with that but i would like to know more about it!

  • @LAFEEHILY make sure the nuvaring is hooked behind your cervix, a small fleshy nub inside the vagina. it will keep the ring from slipping down. :) to hook it onto the cervix you have to slide it far up and tilt it up and behind the cervix. hope that helps :) for more information go to the nuvaring website.

  • @waterlily716 Thank god someone replied, but you mean do i have to pull the ring as far as I can?

  • @LAFEEHILY Yes, basically push it in as far as you can. Then tilt it up and down. When you tug gently on the ring it should stay in place if it's hooked onto your cervix.

  • @waterlily716 ooh I see but what happend if the ring is falling al the time because that happened the last time i used and it was uncomfortable, with this it suppose it won't move from the place, I mean if the ring is falling through the cervix all the time the efficiency is the same'

  • @LAFEEHILY if you hook it onto your cervix, it shouldn't move around too much, and that will get rid of the discomfort. did you mean vagina when you typed cervix? because the ring can't fall through the cervix. the ring is still working whether it's around your cervix or not--it just has to be touching the vaginal walls, if that's what you meant.

  • how old were you

  • I would not suggest taking the ring out for sex. If the ring is out for longer than 3 hours, then you need to use a back up method (condoms, abstain). The ring is soft and should not cause dicomfort with intercourse...

    Overall a very informative video

  • For most people, the Nuva ring is awesome. But so people know, there was something that my doc. didn't mention 'till after this happened and I called in about it (I'm assuming because it's not a normal reaction.) I tried the Nuva ring and after two weeks of it in, my body had a bad reaction to it. I wouldn't stop bleeding. And when I had sex it hurt because of I guess inflamation from my reaction. BUT you don't have to take it out to have sex. The guy wont feel it or it's unnoticeable.

  • @Mercrain Maybe you had breakthough bleeding? It's pretty common when starting BC or switching to a new type? Mine went away after a month.

  • love your makeup

  • is it me or she 12

  • can i fill you with my man juice to test this?

  • I have been on the pill for going on 7 years and have never had a problem. I was going to try the nuvaring but my gyno strongly advised against it saying there had been a huge amount of complains and issues with it.

  • i'll stick with the pill.

  • watch out where you put that ring! you need to be careful with bacterials over the ring. you have to put the ring very clean into your vagina... otherwise you risk the chance to get a infection. and i guess you don't want that

  • I don't think she's giving false information at all. That's exactly what the doctor told me when I got mine, that's exactly how I feel about the product after using it. She's giving her opinion on it if you notice the Box underneath the video she explains that it varies from person to person. So if you feel a different way that's totally fine but she was giving her opinion not stating facts. Thanks for the video i was wanting to see how others felt about the product.

  • Please don't do videos like this again. You're giving a lot of false information.

  • I think ur putting it in wrong

  • Wow, I didn't know you had to fold it, no wonder why I got pregnant. I got pregnant off the Nuvaring, I think it's a horrible birth control.

  • @AmberSumer It doesn't matter how you insert it, as long as it's in your body. It says on the nuvaring website that you can't insert it wrong.

  • @AmberSumer I tried nuvaring but it didn't work for me because it was a little bit uncomfortable, all the time the ring was falling down through the vagina and i wasn't sure if i was using in the correct way, may be i didn't know how to put it , i've never have tried during the relation but that's all i can say about nuva ring!!

  • @AmberSumer It doesn't matter how you insert it. Maybe you put it on the wrong day or it fell out and was out too long. As with any birth control method, there's a chance you can get pregnant.

  • @AmberSumer me too

  • What if it gets stuck up there

  • @arlenyschelsea2427 Nothing can get stuck in your vagina. It's closed at the other end by the cervix.

  • Did you know that thing will work if you stick it up your butt too? Actually you could stick it in your cheek or wear two as wrist bands. Anywhere it gets solid body contact for extended periods of time is enough. WHY it has to go where it goes, a mystery.

  • @Arian861 what your suggesting is that the ring causes a local effect and that is not true. the hormones from the pill or the ring are just going to circulate through your system. it doesn't matter how your getting because hormones will always flow through your bloodstream. the ring was designed as an alternative to the traditional pill. how do you think the patch or injection work?

  • wow, well, i'm glad to see that there are so many mature males on here commenting on your great video!! get a life losers.

To the young lady who made this, thank you, your video saved my life.

  • it doesn't work if you have toxic shock syndrome

  • I really wonder if any birth control causes weight gain....

Or is the time that most women begin birth control the time that the metabolism starts to slow?

  • @TheMelissKiss female hormones cause water retention which is why you get that bloated feeling during pms. the weight gain is not fat is just water

  • can you have sex the day after you first start using it?

  • @xXxdeathcabxXx You have to wait 7 days after you start using it to have sex.

  • i have a question... how many friends do u have?

  • i wanna fuck dis white bitch in da ass

  • @Macroptiliummosaic you are incredibly fucking stupid. she is not going to have sex with you.

  • @McScreamo she will when i pull out my big nigga dick. it attracts white pussy like a magnent .

  • @Macroptiliummosaic more like it attracts dust particles, other men, gonorrhea, syphilis, HIV, shit, old saggy grandmas and lastly dead mammals

  • @McScreamo why dont u ask ur girlfriend if she wants a thick 10 inch black dick. i bet she love black dick lol. she tired of ur tiny white dick LOL

  • @Macroptiliummosaic you speak bullshit dumb ass. you probably have to take viagra when your even masturbating to be able to get a grip xD

  • i'm switching to it tomorrow. thanks for the incite!

  • ur like 16 hahahaha

  • how do u take it out?

  • I liked the nuva ring enough to use it for a year but it chaffed my partner if we got cAught up in the moment and forgot to take it out. Also my first time inserting it caused some painful cramping but after that one night I pretty much forgot it. I don't know if they still hand them out but I got a mail in coupon for a timer that let me know when to remove and replace it, which was extremely handy for me.

  • Actually, I have a bad review for the Nuvaring. My husband and I tried it for two months, and while I didn't get pregnant (yay), I DID completely lose my desire for sex after a couple of weeks of use, and I didn't get that back until after being off it about a month and a half.

Also...it left red marks on him. That hurt.

But this is not the case for everybody...just wanted to give a review!

  • Thank you, Laci. This video was very informative. I'll know what to do next time this situation comes up for me. I'm a guy, and these kinds of videos are way more helpful than embarrassing. Also, you are very beautiful and very intelligent. I wish you the best in life. Cheers! :)

  • @superoriginalname not necessarily it could just be for safety if and when she does do it that's like saying just because a guy has condoms means that he is whiting around and I'm a guy I dnt understand why the reaction is different when it comes to girls using products for pregnancy prevention and when guys use products like oh yeah she's cute but that doesn't, mean that she hooks up with every guy or even most of the guys she likes.

  • @1TENNISTITAN Very well said. Also, she isn't 16; she's at least 19, and is informed about birth control because she works for a research company. I'm a guy too, and I don't agree with the ignorant double standards of society. Women have the right to their own pleasure, and deserve to have sex with whomever they please.

  • @sargeantmalakian I can tell ur one of those feminine metrosexuals who stand behind any kind of feminist propaganda with the hopes of winning the graces of a woman by being a puppy lapdog. Go back to your mom to get bitch slapped cuz I know you secretly enjoy it- pussy :)

  • @superoriginalname Yes, I do love my mother, and I do love attention from women because that's what real men do. A real man is complete with the love of a woman to compliment his personality... If you don't agree with the views in this video, don't watch it! Your insults clearly show your insecurity with yourself, and I remain unaffected.

  • shes probably 16 and she's already whoring around

  • @superoriginalname She isn't 16; she's at least 19, and is informed about birth control because she works for a research company. If you weren't so ignorant, you would know that (she tells you in her videos!). And the fact that you call it "whoring around" shows how immature you are, and that you have little respect for women.

  • That thing is kinda gross

  • Has the nuvaring gone down in cost in the last couple years? I asked my doctor about it two years ago and it was $40 a month whereas the pill that I went on was $15/mo.

  • @DeathSurroundingMe

first off you spelled jealous wrong u stupid fuck, lol and lol again how the fuck am i jealous of a chick please explain that to me u rat- and by the way nice emo name you fag.here's a note go to college stupid mother fucker and maybe some day you will be able to spell jealous the correct way,lol stupid bitch.

  • Comment removed

  • @DeathSurroundingMe I bet 420187joker could say it to your face. I sure as hell would. On top of that, you ARE a fag. There's no such thing as bisexual; you either like guys, or you don't like guys. Plus, homosexuality is a mental disorder, due to the fact that men are not biologically compatible with one another, and are not meant to cooperatively reproduce. Have fun being a retard... Also, you're 13. There is no way you "fuck" girls because 13-year-old girls aren't even interested in sex.

  • Comment removed

  • So i was gunna be put on implanon but i thought of this, is this any good or what diffrent kinds should i try?

  • I kno a girl who got pregnant on the nuva ring...she lost weight and I guess it messed the ring up..

  • This was cool. Thanks girlie.

  • Her talking about sex made me cum.

  • @ZilchGalaxy Thats so stupid, what kind of person puts things like that on a video about a girl talkin about birthcontrol?

  • I also get my Nuvaring Birth Control at MyCycleDirect (com) - 3 months for $90 . Good Luck

  • I know the video is old but I wanted to ask, did you gain any weight on the pill and if so did you lose it?

Sorry if that is personal, im on the pill and I did gain weight, I want to change my method to the nuva ring and I want someone with personal experiece to tell me if they lost weight after stopping the pill.

  • Uh I forgot what I was original going to say but now I watched one of ur other vids and I wasn't sure but did u say u where 19?

  • Just a question: What if you still have irregular periods? I want to use this over the pill, but this is holding me back.

  • can i try to you so that i know if its work,,,

  • Probably shouldn't comment but...

Hot girl talking about birth controll products.

I sense a disturbance in my pants.

  • and what if it doesn't pop? is it wrong?

  • helped me alot this video has helped me thank you so muchhhhh

  • Have you experianced mood swings using that?

  • She is a ring in her vagina...hahahaha

  • men don't feel it, trust me

  • Does your father know that you're fornicating? Shameful, yet you're proud.

    Revelation 2:21

And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.

    Amen

  • @juslookin3 At least she's using protection and being safe about it, rather than just randomly going out and having sex without any protection like a lot of women. *cough cough Sarah Palin's daughter*

  • @LemnzestManatee It's fornication all the same. Laugh while you can, mocker. It's a short time compared to the eternity that you'll regret it.

    Matthew 3:12

Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and gather his wheat into the garner; but he will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.

    Amen

  • @juslookin3 Yeah, that's totally gonna happen. Even though I am an all-around good person who tries to make the best decisions in life, I am going to burn in Hell for eternity just because I choose not to wait until marriage to have sex in my monogamous relationship. *rolls eyes*

To each their own, I guess.

  • uhhhh im so sick of birth control. my husband needs to get fixed!!!!!

  • The only place I found on the internet for affordable NuvaRing and etc... birth control without insurance is: MyCycle Direct. I found the MyCycle company though Encyclopedia online and I discovered that they are the leading online Birth Control Pharmacy. Good Luck

  • peace out

  • Laci's vagina rejected the nuvaring.

  • @AmandaLynn1911 Yes you can. I am on the NuvaRing and it specifically says that it can be removed for up to three hours at a time.

  • @RhiFooshwah it does not say you HAVE to take it out during intercourse

  • wait it says you can remove it? i don't remember reading that on the package. forgive me for being the ill informed boyfriend.

  • so do you as the guy really feel it while having sex??

  • @FantasticTeapot yeah and it hurts a little after a while, taking it out would be better, im going talk with her doctor.

  • @MolonLabe84 Yes, your girlfriend will stay protected for up to three hours with the ring out, as the hormones will still be running through her body.

  • LOL .. whats ur number ? ;P

  • all birth control has negative side effects. Do you're research girl :). Also, birth control, no matter what the form can affect everyone differently. It just depends on the person. Also, the pill has been around for a LOTTTT longer than the nuva ring, and therefore much more research has been done on it. You shoudln't claim that the nuva ring won't make people gain weight...everyone is affected differently! RESEARCH! :)

  • Do *your research.

  • she said you're supposed to take it out when you have sex so he doesn't feel it, but then how does it protect against pregnancy?

  • Yeeah? Shee is apparently tooo youung to undeeerstand thaat haalf the thinngs shes saaying doesnt eveen maake sense..WHAAT GRAADE IS SHE IN ANYWAAY? ISNT SHE TOO YOUUNG TO BE HAVINNNG SEX?

  • she was like 19 when she did this

  • @MrszC14 What exactly did you fail to understand?

  • @kittygirl538 It releases the same hormones that are in the birth control pill. Even if you take it out for an hour or two, those hormones are still going through your body. If you leave it out for too long though, then the hormones will become less, thus reducing your protection.

  • You kinda forgot that it can give you heart attacks, blood clotting, weight changes, depression, strokes and cancer, amongst others.

Basically, it has the same side-effects as the pill <_<

  • My girlfriend started using it recently and the only time I felt it was when it came out with me, and that only happened once.

  • How do you take it out?

  • @BlackBarbieMekaBoo Just reach 1 or 2 fingers inside, grab onto the ring, and pull it out. The material is flexible, so it can be taken out with ease.

  • @BlackBarbieMekaBoo yea iid like to kno how 2 take thatsuckker out??

  • @BlackBarbieMekaBoo i LOL at u....u've probably still have it in there lmfao at ur dumdass u see i put nothing n that way i don't have to take nothing out. hahahaha

    ur too funny

  • @BlackBarbieMekaBoo Stick your finger up in there, and pull it out.

  • Are you still using the Nuva Ring? There have been recalls for this drug recently. Not saying that I wouldn't take it...ALL BC has adverse side affects. That's the truth. Doctors don't emphasize that. Especially with newer drugs. Be careful with what your told and what you actually choose to believe. Don't ever be too timid about getting 2nd and 3rd opinions. I have a severe case of PCOS (cysts on my ovaries that cause severe symptoms, worse one being nausea and vomiting) I take Seasonique...

  • This must be old.. I had been on the nuva ring for 11 weeks and i gained weight it made my boobs sensitive but if I were noticing those side effects then I should have stopped. But I didnt think they were birth control related. I have been off the nuva ring for 3 weeks now and feel sooooo much better about myself :p

  • @Twia123 I've been on the Nuvaring for about...5 months now, and the only real side effects is that I had pretty bad mood swings in the beginning (my body getting used to the hormones), and my vagina started producing more mucus (so I wear liners in my underwear all the time). On the plus side though, my period starts at the same time period every month (the Wed after I remove the ring), and my cramping (that used to be really painful) is now very tolerable. I, personally, am glad I went on it.

  • um you should pop that in for us in vid >:]

  • I am on the Nuvaring and to let you females know you CAN remove it while you are having sex up to three hours and you are STILL protected...thats IF you are in a monogamous (probably spelled wrong) and you don't wanna use condoms...just remember if you do remove during sex that you put it back in before your 3 hours is up...I haven;t had issues with it and the patch was getting WAY TOO expensive for me!

  • I wanted to go on the nuva ring. But it's $65 a month. Which I can't afford. So I have to use the patch instead which is $15 a month.

  • Do you use the patch just to keep from getting pregnant, or do you take birth control for any other medical reasons?? I just wanted a good opinion of the patch. Because it may be what I have no choice but to start taking. I am on Seasonique right now, and the bloat side effect is INSANE! I woke up this morning looking like I am 3 months pregnant. I can't do this and enjoy my spring/summer!

  • I use the patch to keep from getting pregnant. My sister takes the pill for medical reasons. She gets cysts on her ovaries. Thank God I don't have that!

  • Thank you very much for the review! Amazing!

  • U MISSED FEW THINGS.... im on it and i have NO periods my doc lettin me change it on the 1st of every month so NO periods and its ok u dont have them . ALSO it not safe to put it in that way just bend it and slide it in.

    just sayin...

  • That's cool that you have no periods :) However, it IS safe to put it in that way. There are many other ways too.

  • send me a video showing how to insert it

  • You have to reach up and pull it out every time you have sex? What if you have sex 3-5x a week, like most young married couples?

  • @christo930 well, no, thats not how it works. My girlfriends on that form of birth control. You do NOT need to remove it before sex, it DOES stay in while you have intercourse, and you sometimes do feel it (guys), if it was placed in inproperly. The good thing about the NuvaRing is that even if its in incorrectly, its still working, it just has to be in contact with the inner walls of the vagina, but if you feel it , you can move it to its proper place. hope this helps. : )

  • couldnt have said it better myself :)

  • @eternalzero13 my girlfriend just told me about this and I was just wondering if it can go really far inside the vagina, has it happen to you guys? and if it does, how did you get it out?, I think this seems like a much better product than the pill, thanks for the information

  • @juanprietob usually it will get pushed up deeper during sex, but it works its way back down to a comfortable median afterwards. and if it doesn't, its really as simple as just reaching up to get it out. its not difficult, and its only gotta come out during the period week. i highly suggest trying this form of birth control. it works amazingly. and you can't really forget to take it

  • nice job. will be showing this to a midwifery class.....

  • @becomingmidwife

Wow, there's so many things wrong with the information in this video and you're going to show it in a class before researching the product. You should feel ashamed of listening to a teenager for a medical opinion on a product and even considering using it to teach or as a demonstrat
