Apparently "Expert" now means:

"Adjective: Having or showing no skill; clumsy."

Friendly girl, but she did A LOT of things wrong.

The correct riffle shuffle is "shuffe, shuffle, box, shuffle", NOT "shuffle, box, shuffle, shuffle."

She bent the hell out of the cards, and her "fan" was too noisy.

Lastly, the cut card is placed in the center of the table during shuffling to signal "no action" to the security cameras, and is picked up only when play is about to resume.

eh? this 'expert' seems to have a few misunderstandings with regard to her subject of expertise. rifflings the actual initial shuffling part, not the quasi-strip she was doing. and you're supposed to push together the two halves of the deck with your pinkies after riffling, not tap it together with your hand like she's doing.

There must be a million YouTubers that can shuffle cards better that this girl and "Expert" Village picked her.

1) She doesn't even know dealer should always bury the top card.

2) What she calls a riffle is called a strip, and you don't start a strip by taking from the bottom.

3) She can't even cut for shuffle neatly, or riffle neatly.

4) She doesn't even know that at the end dealer should never be allowed to hold the deck with both hands when cutting.

Where did they find this "expert?"

What the hell? She's got the shuffle sequence all messed up. It's riffle/riffle/box/riffle/cut, not riffle (as she says, shuffle...lol), then strip the cards to all hell, riffle, riffle, cut. I need to make an instructional video for dealing. This is horrendous.

Even better, can she make the shuffle any louder?! God. If I'm in a poker room and I just hear across the room that KKKCCCCCHHHHKKKK, I frickin' cringe. It's supposed to be almost feather-like and silent.

Heh, that's 'Expert Village' for you. This is definitely NOT a video for professional dealers. She's not horrendous, but she got a lot of it wrong. For one, the 'riffle' is the shuffling portion, NOT where she strips the deck. Secondly, you should never strip a deck, rather 'box' it. Ugh...nevermind, I'm not going to list all of the reasons, I don't have enough characters left for my comment. I'm just going to make my own instructional video. Seriously.

I already have. Unfortunately, my laptop is crap and couldn't record the audio and the video at the same time without tons of 'blips' or skips in the audio making it really hard to understand. Oh and further to my last post and after watching it again she call's something "Riffle shuffling". What she is trying to teach you from start to finish IS a riffle shuffle. What she tried to show you there is "strip/box shuffling". Further to my thoughts she doesn't know what she's talking about and learnt it from her best mates fathers sisters best mate's accountant who's son is a "dealer".

I'm a dealer and if she is she's not a good one. As someone said she's bending the cards excessively. There's no need for it and her little fingers should be at the back of the deck helping to push the cards together. Something she does wrong anyway because she doesn't make a little "bow tie" when she does (difficult to explain). I don't mind people who can't or are crap at shuffling but i can't stand it when they try and pass on their kack handed way of doing it.
