Thats not stuck,if you can move back and forth an inch your not stuck.Thats enough to get out if you have a clue. And a guy in a Titan making fun of a Tundra is as clueless as it gets.Does your mother know your out in that nasty storm? The street lights are on you know. Now get home both of you.
I can't believe the people commenting on the Truck in the video. I am the owner and driver like I have already said and the truck is 4 wheel drive. not sure on the tire size, I think they are 17". the problem was I didnt push the buttons on the dash and hold them for 3 seconds so the engines power was being cut. Also the back is full to the top of the sides with uncut logs of birch. I had way to much weight for the conditions
@sheriffko Thanks for clarifying. I am picking up my new 11' Tundra in the Rock Warrior tomorrow. This is my 3rd Tundra since 2008 and I have loved them all, I have no doubt as to the toughness of this truck. I live in Lake Tahoe, so I wouldn't be buying one if it couldn't go through the snow. We routinely get dumped 4-5 feet at a time. Tundra's are sweet.
I don't know what happened in this video everybody can say what they want to. I own a 2011 Rock Warrior and I would glady put it up against any factory truck around. We had 6" of snow just a couple weeks ago and I rode around in 2wd everywhere
@portageboy69 You won't drive no car through 18" of snow. Trust me, I pulled enough 4X4's out with mine in less snow. I live where this season we had snow 9 months in a row.
@sokodad you wanna make a bet i live in canada yeah nine monthes of snow a year big deal like i said ill pull out any stuck 4x4 in the winter with my car i have good tires on my marquis and i know how to drive i do it for a living get sdome tires learn how to drive and youll have no problems
@portageboy69 Your so full of crap. I don't care where you live. We get just as much snow as you do unless you live in the Yukon. Don't tell me about driving. I drive truck for a living and I've put on more miles already than you will the rest of your life. I'm sure I could drive circles around you. I grew up on a farm and learned how to drive there. Unless you think the world is stupid, you aren't going to make it believe you will drive a Mercury Marquis, a rear wheel drive car, in 18" of snow.
@sokodad i live in canada where we have nine motnthes of snow every year and yea i can push snow over the hood in my car thank you. pull out stuck 4x4's all the time so like i said get some good tires and learn how to drive
@portageboy69 You'd be high centered before you left your driveway. I'm guessing your young and wet behind the ears yet. Give me a call in about 20 years when you developed some common sense.
@sokodad i live in canada where we have nine motnthes of snow every year and yea i can push snow over the hood in my car thank you. pull out stuck 4x4's all the time so like i said get some good tires and learn how to drive
@sokodad yea i live in canada where we have many feet of snow every year and i pull out guys like you and 4x4's all the time in my marquis/ i can drive thru snow as high as my hood no problem/ so like i said get some tires and learn how to drive
It is a 2009 Rock Warrior with rock warrior rims and BF Goodrich rides that came on it...... I am the owner of it and the driver...... The reason I was stuck is because I did not turn the limited slip differential button off so it was not letting full power to the wheels and they weren't all spinning.
It only got stuck bc doesn't have right tires for condition no four wheel drive and doesn't have a lift on it my dad has a 2008 tundra dual exhaust cool air intake mud grabber tread and 6inch lift
Slothmizzy, what do you have a 4.6L? I have a 5.4 and I tow my 22' boat everywhere, with no problems. Maybe you are the worst driver that comments on youtube? This is my 3rd F150 and have had ZERO problems with any of them. I'm sorry you bought a lemon, that isn't my fault, do your research Sloth.
westy2457 you are hands down the biggest idiot yet on youtube. i have a 05 f-150 . it doesnt tow its is so friggen bad off road (limited slip front and rear. and has no power at all. oh yeah wait till you put some miles on it and it starts blowing spark plugs out of its aluminum head. like mine and friends have done twice! and because your so well educated do you know that most of them are made in mexico.
@slothmizzy, what do you have a 4.6L? I have a 5.4 and I tow my 22' boat everywhere, with no problems. Maybe you are the worst driver that comments on youtube? This is my 3rd F150 and have had ZERO problems with any of them. I'm sorry you bought a lemon, that isn't my fault, do your research Sloth.
@Gimp725, I'm very proud of you that you owned a 2007. That is not the point here Gimp. The point is that the truck in the video is a 2009 Rock Warrior that you claim is not. You claim to be an expert in the field of Toyota Trucks but you can't even tell that this a Rock Warrior. I have no idea about round or square taillights, all I know is the truck in the video is a 2009 Toyota Tundra Rock Warrior.
FIRST of all I am the owner of the truck in the video. It is a 2009 rock warrior dumb ass get YOUR facts straight. SECOND it is a 4x4 however I didn't have the differential lock in and the snow was up to our knees and we had a lot of wood in the back. THIRD if this is not a Rock Warrior then what did I buy?
FIRST.. That is NOT a rock warrior!! The Rock Warrior model came out for 2010 and the 2010 Tundra got the redesigned taillights that are more squared, not the round taillights from 07-09. So get your facts straight. SECOND.. As everyone else has said, if it is only a 4x2 of course it will get stuck, especially if it has bald tires or tires with no teeth left to pull it out. THIRD.. Check your resale value on a Tundra and Titan comparably equipped and see which one is worth more.
@Gimp725 You obviously know absolutely nothing about Toyota's or Rock Warriors. You couldn't have been any more wrong with your comments. Every point you made was false. WTF?
@westy2457 As a matter of fact, I owned a 2007 Tundra TRD Off-Road. Due your research. For the 2010 model year they produced 3 levels of TRD's. They are, Off-Road, Sport and Rock Warrior. And now I am the proud owner of a 2010 which has the new squared off taillight assembly, not round.
@westy2457 check again, yes rock warrior new in 2010, yes tail lights changed 2010, this tundra had 18" wheels not 17" rock warrior wheels, and unless this truck is debadged, it 2wd.
@westy2457 i was wrong, rock warrior offered in 2009 wich did have the old tail lights, but did look to have 18" wheels and i also noticed the rock warrior does not have 4x4 on back. I guess i take my comments back, lol.
@Gimp725 Actually the Rock Warrior came out in 2009. Also, the Titan is rated very poorly by Consumer Reports. I think they're nice trucks, but just sayin'. I also like the Tundra Rock Warrior. It's a bad ass truck. If money wasn't an option I'd have both, but honestly my next truck I'd like to own is the Toyota.
Unless u own a 4wd tundra keep your mouth shut. I have a 2010 4wd crewmax with the shitty radials, not even all terrains, and my truck has made it through a good bit with a trailer weight of about 5000 lbs. 2500 empty.
Okay, so my question is was it a 2 wheel drive Tundra vs a 4 wheel drive Titan? Because the specs on both trucks are pretty similar if they've got the same drive configuration.
Wonder what that driver did to get in that situation. I've been in well over 2 feet with no problems in my 09 Crewmax 4x4, and that is with the crappy factory Bridgestone Dueller HT street tires that you would find on a Highlander or RAV4. The fiance is using it right now while I'm away. She has minimal experience getting around in snow in a 6000 pound pickup and hasn't been stuck yet in close to 3 feet.
Not the worst that could have happened. You could have gotten stuck on perfectly even ground next to camp, then had t have the Tundra tow you out. hahaha. Point being, no truck could have gotten up there without all the powering up, back tracking, plowing and shoveling. At least we supplied camp with wood for 2013! haha
holy shit... i have an explorer and an F150, iv been in snow so deep, that it actually plows the snow with the front bumper. that tundra was stuck in 6 in? wowowow. Iv pulled a tundra out of the ditch with my explorer. they suck donkey dick
09F150owner1, aka Kevin Ordway Tundra Owner, nice story, you have never riden in my F150 because you know you will fall in love with a real truck with a classy interior. They really look awesome from the video? hahahahahaha, a little Titan drove right through it with no problems :o)
I own an 09 F150 and believe me my buddy's Tundra out performs it in every way. We take his camping and snowmobiling because it tows so much better. The power difference is amazing. I have been trying to get rid of my truck to get a new Tundra, finding its not easy to sell a Ford. All other videos and reviews on the Tundra are incredible and I love my buddy's truck, I am definatly getting one.

I think if the truck came with mud terrain tires instead of all terrain, he would have had traction.
