  • Another quick question, after i select on make multiclip option and i click on the "open" instead of "sync off", i'm still not able to see both cameras play simultaneously. everytime i hit play i can only see the stuff shot from one of the cameras, but as soon as i pause it then i can see both cameras. I have no idea why. Can you help? oh and by the way, if i do the syncing finding the in points, do i have to do this for every little single clip? i have maybe like 100 different clips per camera

  • Have you tried using pluraleyes? that way you don't have to go through every single clip finding an in point...i haven't done it but i'm editing a wedding too so i guess we are working on the same thing and it would be helpful if you can tell me how it was easier for you. Thanks!

  • Cool ! Just lower the music.

    Try pluraleyes

  • Nice work, Evan!

  • This video put me where I need to be for my Video Production Team. I am gonna keep checking out your channel.

    Brian.

  • Evan, question though. You're switching angles by tapping on the desired angle as the viewer is playing. Is there a way to switch angles in the timeline other than by right clicking and selecting it from the pulldown window. Avid had a keyboard shortcut for it but I've never found one in fcp (not that i use the function that much). The nature of the projects I work on doesn't really benefit from selecting angles the way you're showing. I can always use the pulldown window, it's just not as fast.

  • @mia3571 you can custom set keybinds in the keyboard shortcut menu

  • How age are you?

  • pluraleyes is the BEST way to sync your multiclips. its bloody amazing!

  • I have a quick question for you. i have a multi-cam show i shot today but i've never used multi-cam. Here is the predicament i'm in. i think i need to capture all the footage, export to after effects, key it all because it's green screen, then re import it but i have another problem i need your advice for. I have three audio feeds each to a separate camera and each on a separate tape so how do i do the multicam editing and keep all three pairs of audio tracks in the timeline. i haven't begun yet

  • good green screen , but you having problem with your hair, so even a good screen you must look carefully when you adjust it in after effects or whatever you used, because it is transparent sometimes

  • Like Tobuscus much?

  • Hi there, I was just wondering what camera you used in this video because the quality is great!! So please let me know where you bought it. and how much it was. btw, GREAT VIDEO!

  • Question: how much did they pay you for editing the wedding video?

  • I need to shoot with more than one cameras at the same time?? Please help!!

  • It's malcom :D

  • thank you so much.. i have ask so many people but no one know how to do this.. so thanks.. but i cant edit while the canvas is playing, while i select a different angle on the viewer everything stops..is there a way to fix this..please help.. :)

  • it's not working! i followed every step, but it is just stopping when I'm pressing the different angles in the viewer...

  • @jonebestava Is your footage all the same codec? If it's not from the same model camera, you need to run it through a program like Mpeg Streamclip to make sure your footage is all the same type.

  • @filmtipsandtutorials it's all from the same camera

  • @jonebestava I am experiencing the same problem. I don't think this thing works.. its B/S. I've followed several tutorials exactly step by step but when I click play, the viewer only plays ONE video as oppose to the whole 4 then when I hit stop, all of the clips will suddenly show up.

  • @vexer007 Yep, same here. I've done multicam in FCP 6, there's definitely a bug.

  • @vexer007

Follow these settings, relaunch final cut and create a new sequence. It should then be flawless:

    From the RT menu:

    Unlimited RT

Playback Frame Rate & Quality set to Dynamic

    Multiclip playback is checked

    From the View Menu:

    Show Multiclip Angles is checked.

    Viewer or Canvas:

    Playhead Sync set to Open

  • Thanks, really needed it!

  • do you use final cut pro or express? also what kind of microphone do you have?

  • just kidding but seriously...=)

  • Where do you get your background music and intro music and stuff? And yes I agree multicam saves a he'll of a lot of time next time I use it for a project I'll refer back! Thanks

  • frankie muniz?

  • Hey Evan, I really enjoyed the video.

May I ask where you got your green screen?

  • Hey, I am about your guys' age and lately I've been thinking about offering wedding video services. I am curious, how do you guys get your clients?

  • Great video

  • that is fucking sweet thanks man!!
