One of the cats from Dead Prez even has a book about writing lyrics, though he makes attempts about patterns, this vid is more detailed. I would say if ya'll want to really know more about rhymin', watch the DVD documentary "This Is The LIfe" about Freestyle Fellowship and The Good Life Cafe emcees. They are the masters of freestylin', typewritin', shadowboxin', and patterns.
