Amazing, democrats have gotten so many us kids killed during thier administrations.ww2-roosevelt-400000 us kids killed. korean war -truman -50000 us kids killed. vietnam-kennedy sent advisors in to start the mess and johnson sent 50000 us kids to die.somalia-clinton 18 us kids murdered by black muslims and dragged thru the streets on t.v. granted ,bush screwed up but there is more blood on democrat hands.SHAMEFUL. So Bush and the Conservative Values have Failed in getting the US into a war. What are the overall values that fail in getting into all the different wars?
Also, libertarian values seem to fail because they don't maintain integrity and stand up for their professed values and instead really support the Failed Conservative Value of authoritarianism.
Howard Dean was the only hope for the Democrats in 2004, and they destroyed themselves voting on "electability", that worked out. Dean will bring us out of these dark ages.
Dean made Vermont a tourist state and now what is left? He signed the civil union bill "in the closet". Stomped off when asked hard questions. Called 911 while hiking... you can't even get lost in Vermont. What has Obama done to change? O is continuing the Bush policies... Not much real clapping.
I just learned about this guy recently, hes not a very good speaker, nor does he seem like a good leader. He draws way to much on the words "core, progressives, fairness, and healthcare" even though i understand thats the message he is trying to get through, what really bothers me he that he just drills the idea that republicans are the problem and protrays them as evil just as bad as fox news as he himself accuse of being bias and single minded.
Dean says that the GOP looks "like the 1950s"...he should remember that it was the Democrats blocking civil-rights legislation back then. Of course, for the left, the 50s were the source of everything bad, because the hippies hadn't enlightened the world by rolling around in the mud at Woodstock yet.
I agree with Dean. For me, actions speak louder than words, but some people like to hear things spelled out. However, I suggest a more accurate word--courage--for what Dean calls "toughness" or "strength."
Courage encompasses strength and toughness, but is not limited by them. Toughness in the wrong situations is a character flaw. Strength can help build things, but applied wrongly, causes destruction.
Without courage, you're just a bully. And everyone knows that bullies are afraid.
Howard Dean made Vermont the highest taxes state. He made VT service related jobs and I bet you young folks know where those jobs went. He is real a republican cause he appointed many, many of them to high positions in VT. Rich and spoiled.
Take back Vermont was the campaign that HE LOST in Vermont even though he was re-elected. What an idio! Spoiled and rich, rich. How much does he personally make in his stock from the WAR. This man needed extra police to go to some places in the tiny state of Vermont. Closet signer of the Civil Union. HIdes in Green Rm when Dem chair is in studio. He was called Howard the Coward in Vermont.
Actually, Dr. Dean had the lowest income on his tax return of any candidate running in 2004. He and his wife, both Doctors and him the sitting Governor of Vermont at the time of his initial disclosure made $110K for the year. Hardly rich.
Does anyone find it odd he didn't get any position w/Obama? Former doctor and didn't even get the top med position. Why? Arogant. Arogant. Arogant.

Right off the bat: "...all 10 on the Republican side want to stay in Iraq..." WRONG.
RON PAUL HAS NEVER VOTED TO SUPPORT THE WAR, AND WILL HALT THE WAR AND IMPERIALISM AROUND THE WORLD. Idiot.

incredibly WEAK "leadership" which is why Dem primary will go on for months. Dean will make sure Mccain wins with his unreal weakness

More thoughts on courage...
It takes courage to:
...be humble instead of arrogant.
...represent all Americans instead of a privileged few.
...act with integrity instead of bullying or misleading people with words.
...admit your own bigotries and work to end them.
...ignore false accusations of weakness, which can lead you into a series of disastrous and immoral choices.
It takes fear to start a war, but courage to end one.
