  • @MyComicHQ This is the best hobby there is and a great place to be. I will keep u in mind!

  • @captainstrangelife thank you very much!

  • very cool dude I hope to have a run of amazing spidey like yours one day

  • @ComicFreakification I still got a ways to go to complete other collections of comics but it's still part of the fun.

  • @captainstrangelife that it is; the thrill of the hunt lol

  • why do you always hold a TV controller?

  • @TheGabrielMerida That's a stereo remote control

  • OMG!!! Where's my hankie, gotta wipe the drool offa my face!!! Up until about 1983, I had all 15 issues of Amazing Adult Fantasy. but financial problems forced me to sell them and about 300 other books, including F.F. #1, I still kick myself in the ass for doing that. Love that b/g music. Excellent!

  • Love the Gumball/Toy machines!! I tried to get 2 Batman Toy machines ..one with Batman rings from 60s still in it!! But they went outta My reach at auction.. Awesome Spidermans!!

  • How long have you been collecting comic books? You have quite the collection there!

  • @darkfrieza95 Since the 1960's

  • Amazing Fantasy #15, and an 8.5!!!

    That's worth $72,800 or if it's graded and encapsulated it's worth $87,360!!!

  • @seecacoo Well i don't think i would get that much but i would not sell it anyway.

  • @captainstrangelife

I found the prices in Comic Price Guide

But I also wouldn't sell it for all the money in the world, if I had it! :)

  • Beautiful collection of spidey that fantasy 15 is amazing.

  • this is amazing the first issuse of spiderman and more also amazing fantasy issue 15 is magic master piece but it cost a fourtune

  • @spiderman345123z Well, iv'e been collecting a long time.

  • I loved the early spider-man stories enough I wrote a review about them. To read the review do a Google search for ''squidoo Spider-Man Masterworks''

  • u have a awsome collection of spider man comic books..

  • Can you do your vol. 2 collection?

  • I was wondering, what kind of comic sleeves do you use?

  • @Beltzer0072 Expensive books get Mylar or Mylites 2 and everything else is acid free bags from ultra-pro

  • @captainstrangelife Thanks, i really just don't like regular sleeves. Especially now cause now I am starting to break into hard to find Golden and Silver Age books. Batman, Superman, Spiderman and X-Men I go after mainly, do you have any for sale of those?

  • @Beltzer0072 I'm not selling anything right now just collecting.

  • @captainstrangelife i understand, im doing the same right now

  • You need to get your AF15 slabbed!

  • yes !

  • AMAZING mate... im working on my collection right now! not many too go.

  • dude you still got issue 1 if you could hold on to it until february i would pay for it that is if you still got it man

  • @davidward7455259 The one copy i might sell has Marvel chipping at the bottom of both covers and a small piece missing at the left upper cover. The interiors are off white/cream. Also some creases and three small tears on front cover. Cover still has nice gloss and i already had an offer of 3,500 but didn't sell it.

  • Ditko left the series after doing the art for 38 issues.

  • how many spiderman comics did steve ditko draw or wright i forget which he does but i need to know how many he did.

    Thanks!

  • Vey nice collection you could retire on the Spider-man number 1's.

  • @Thorfan2010 Well at 2.0 which is GD #9 would be 120.00 #13 110.00 #20 65.00 according to Overstreet .

  • If you sold all your duplicates off you could easily afford some Ditko original art, some some Tales to Astonish Ditko splash page went for 20k on ebay, I'm sure a interior to one of those spidey's would be in that range, I doubt a cover would even be for sale.... But, you're sitting with 10's of thousands of dollars how can you not afford it? Just the other day a spidery 1 went for 3500 at a 4.5 CGC.... Sell those duplicates and get something else cool for us to watch on youtube.

  • @fhcrotchhunter I have a difficult time letting go of anything and that's a problem i gotta change soon because i'm running out of room!

  • @captainstrangelife

you can send some stuff to me! ;)

  • Nice video, keep on collecting those Silver Age treasures.

  • @chromiumcomics I appreciate your comment, thanks!

  • Hey cap i juzt saw ur amizing spider-man collection......I just started to collect comic books a month ago.....

I will upload a video later this week

maybe u can give me some tips and advice or what to look for

    thanks for ur time

  • @MrTemo91 Well I would say just collect what you really like and try to get to a convention or two. Dealers usually have a lot of comics in .50 cent boxes mostly from the 80's , 90's and up. A lot of comic stores have discount clubs, you should check into that. If your buying more expensive back issues look the book over very carefully and get to know the Overstreet Priceguide. You may also find yourself liking a particular artist or writer. Hope this helps a little.

  • @MrTemo91 Hit a few garage and yard sales, estate sales. Check out Craigslist and search for comic books under garage sales.

  • hay are all your comics in mylar bags? i cant tell if they are or arent

  • @totalfuckingdoom Hi, I try to keep all silver age comics in Mylar bags but some are not. All other books are in acid free Polypropylene bags from UltraPro.

  • ...and here all this time I thought I was the biggest SPIDEY fan. You probably have the most amazing spidey collections out of all the videos I have seen on you tube. My SPIDEY collection is nothing compared to yours. watching your videos have really amazed me...Thank you for sharing.

  • well......Im gonna take up collecting twigs now....lol

  • After I read your comment it took me five minutes to stop laughing. I used to collect twigs and leaves when I was a kid because i was interested in nature & science.... but then I discovered the possibilties of being bitten by a radioactive spider ( and I collected plenty of spiders) but could not produce the radioactivity for the life of me....so I stuck to collecting comics instead!

  • the nerd in me tells me i want to be you in 25 years lol ha ha great great stuff.

  • awesome, i like the scorpion one, and i like that scorpion now wears the venom symbiote

  • Thanks, I love that classic look.

  • wow nice collection love that amazing fantasy 15
