I have always thought that that song was her best, and, in this rendition, it showcases the range of her talent to good advantage. There is a sort of country-western sound here reminiscent of Dolly Parton. (And I might have picked up on that even without the dulcimer.)

Her ability to put so much emotions on her songs is beyond believe.

I never liked this song, never noticed the wonderful lyrics, until I stumbled unto this beautifully emotional arrangement.

Cyndi looks so pretty here and her vocal delivery is perfect. Subdued and sad. That little crack in it ... makes it sound like she's holding back a tear.
