  • 172? Bullshit should have been on top ten

  • @juegas The results aren't numbered like that. They are just the number he posts them in. Read his channel description.

  • top 2 comments^

top comment #1 defines pretty accurately what a trolls does and/or lives on, trolling...

top comment #2 shows how to stop a hating troll dead in it's tracks, fail troll

  • truly a classic. honestly im downloading it for my phone. easily one of the best snes themes ever.

  • Really, a game doesn't need an industry changing element to be great.

Look a cave story. That game is incredibly similar to Metroid and Castlevania, but it still feels fresh and new. Probably because it doesn't run off of 'nastalgia'.

If you stripped STH4 or NSMBWii of all recognisable characters and themes everyone would realise how indifferent they are. Both of them are barely live up to their respective franchise's names.

I guess the secret to a good game is a matter of how much they care.

  • I once had a dream that i died and I was out in this big open field and there was a blue portal thing in front me I could step in. Like on Zelda game when you beat a boss and can transport outside the temple. Anyway, I stepped into it and started floating up toward Heaven and the whole time I was floating up I was hearing Aquatic Ambience playing in the background of my dream. It was Awesome!

  • Those water levels were so tough! Love the DKC games! :)

  • Yo you see that beaver behind DK? Yo that bug eyed beaver use to creep me the hell out. Actually.....it still does lol

  • This is why I did not like like the direction that Donkey Kong Country Returns went. It was too "happy" "kiddish". Donkey Kong country was dark and ambient.

  • And because of this... you know why it was a big fat failure, to try and mix console games and pc games togheter. It is the best for both, to not touch each other. PC games are online and a bomb of hardwarepower. Consolegames are the little fun and experience just for the gamer alone.

Big multiplayer should stay on the pc.

  • this used to make me sad when i was little but now I think its absolutely beautiful.

  • kong was doing it before everyone. this is where oneohtrix probably gets his inspiration

  • How could 18 People Dislike this. Honestly, how can anyone Dislike this music. It's so beautiful. I love it, and the game.

  • @mrthebengaltiger1 They disliked this clip simply because they are dumb, trolls or angry at themself.

  • Happy:

Super Mario 64: Water World Theme

    Super Mario 64: Slide Theme

    Super Mario 64: Snow Mountain

    Super Mario 64: Main Theme

    Dark/Deep:

Resident Evil 1: Save Room Theme

Resident Evil 2: Save Room Theme & Police Station Hall Theme

Resident Evil 3: Save Room Theme

Dino Crisis 1: Save Room Theme

  • I've been listening to this non-stop. Help, please.

  • This could be the music for an ancient and forgotten temple if it was in another game.

  • This music calms me down *-*

  • whatever, the ice cave song is way better. and the bramble song from dkc2. this song doesn't make me feel shit.

  • To each their own. You acknowledge that Stickerbrush Symphony is one of DKC's finest, so you're all good.

  • This tune makes me feel like jelly. But in a good way.

  • There's definitely a touch of sadness, but it's got this relaxed and romantic feel to it. It's almost sexual :B

  • @SaffronSkunk If this tune reminds you of sex, then that has to be some pretty depressing sex. It reminds me of Phil Collins.

  • @cadmus98 Well, I have to say that this is, for me, the theme for a virtual character I created, for a Zora-Couple (You know Zelda?), and when I was thinking about them making love in the ocean, exactly this theme came to my mind ^^ It's some kind of strange romance this theme has <3 I can imagine it good - to romantic zora-sex XD

  • Inspires peace, but with a touch of sadness. Kind of like a dying relationship where you still love the person.

  • When this plays, I can hear the DK beating inside the barrel at the beginning of the level.

  • @TAshifter88 (break barrel)

    "OH UH AH-AH-AH-AH!"

  • that "my mom died" guy is a huge homo

  • @jhoch5 If you're talking about me, I am not a guy. I'm a girl. View me as a homo if you wish. I just miss my mom.

  • RIP 90's

  • I was so young when I got this game and heard this for the first time. When you're a child, you're in a dreamy magical bubble and it's all perfect. My father bought it for me. I asked him to play on the tough levels. The water levels were cool - with the swordfish - and even as a child I recognized how sensual and deep the music was. There is something sad and reminiscent about this song. When my dad died, my mom became extremely forlorn, and I played this game to avoid it all, but this song...

  • @TolaMacarino Are you trying to get top comments because of that comment, brah?

  • @xTrollCoffeex Oh the irony.

  • @TolaMacarino

damn man that's sad, but shows even the power video games can have on an individual

  • Reminds me of sitting in my friends living room huddled around the SNES. Ah, many a fine day of my youth wasted.

  • Back when games were not not made exclusively for the money.

  • @sk8er4ever0101 games were made for money back then also so shut the fuck up

  • @slashingcoin not even in the same manner bro, you wouldn't understand.

  • @slashingcoin True video games have always been a business but just like everything else in existence, its worse today.

Its mainly because video games went mainstream.

Most games are made to what the general masses want and end up being generic or copies of another successful franchise(see MW or WoW)

There are still creative people making games but they are simply overshadowed by mountains of shit.

  • @slashingcoin your right but at least the games had meaning nowadays shit is just rushed out

  • @sk8er4ever0101 the same can be said of the entertainment industry too, no quality content, no substance. Entertainment has finally run out of ideas.

  • A QUAD OF GAMBIANS.

  • A QUAD OF GAMBIANS.

  • One of my favorite video game songs

  • Every so often I replay these games just to get back in touch with my roots. My favorite fish in these waters,ENGUARDE!!!

  • Sad, makes me wanna cry... :(

  • ZZZZZZZZzzzzzz....

  • sometimes i just go in these waterlevels to hear the music. i turned the volume on max and let the gameboy play this epic music again and again. best music to relaxx.

  • @SlayerxLeo354 Why did your parents create you? If you have any that is..

  • So many memories flow with this song...timeless....nostalgia HNNNGG!

  • SNES was the best console EVER!

  • This was one of my first games, and I still love it. God bless DK!

  • cool

  • @MrRahjin Obviously you aren't mature enough to comment on this video. Please comment on something more capable to your age.

  • @MrRahjin your a fucking piece of shit

  • When this game first came out it blew my mind how good the graphics were. Not to mention the amazing music.

  • Simply THE BEST VIDEOGAME SONG EVER CREATED!

  • @SlayerxLeo354 What the fuck is wrong with you?! That isn't even remotely funny, even without the fact that you posted it in reply to a guy POURING HIS HEART OUT ABOUT HIS FUCKING MOTHER'S DEATH. Go straight to hell, do not pass go, do not collect $200. You get no points, and may God have mercy on your soul. Wait, no, may he not. Asshole.

  • @SlayerxLeo354 You're fucking horrible, and not funny cocksucking faggot. This guy lost his mom and your going to joke about it? Go fuck yourself ignorant piece of shit.

  • Comment removed

  • A real piece of art! Both the music and the game itself!

  • This reminds me of a hip hop song by a girl! it had the same aquatic effects.

  • Ah the times when the games had soul and felt like REAL games =)

  • I hated the water levels, but loved the music.

  • David Wise FTW!

  • @SlayerxLeo354 wtf is your problem man its the reason why people like you are weighing the earth down wow i wish people like you were exterminated off this damn planet i hope you burn in hell

  • I played this back when it was new.

    I'm old.

  • do these sound tracks have names??

  • Holy fuck, an octopus!

  • CHILLWAVE

  • They just don't make games like this anymore. The soundtrack for both DK1 and DK2 has never been matched (IMO).

  • Back in the days when we had good characters in video games. Now all we get are douchebags like Master Chief and Travis Touchdown.

  • Look, I hate spamming, but can you guys check out my orchestrated version of this? It's right up in the video responses.

  • When I hear this music, I can remember our pets and my grandpa, all of which have passed away. Thanks, Rare, for bringing this masterpiece into the world.

  • @HylianDefender I know what you mean. This tune does have that kind of feeling it makes you think of all of those people from your past that have past on or people who r special to you.

  • This is some Skinemax type music haha

  • Everytime I play this game (which I still have for SNES, I love that) I usually syat at water leels for hours just to hear this music, sure, I could use the musci menu, but what's the point?

  • l loved being a 90s kid, growing up playing epic classics like this.

  • Easily the best track on DKC. A hidden gem of music indeed!

  • God damn you DK soundtrack for being so splendiferous!

  • like this if you came here from cousin fik's track: I Needa...

  • I miss the 90's so much! Back when you couldn't just look to the internet to find all the secrets in a game. When you actually had to find them by pure chance or by buying the guide book. When you had to think about every which jump. When the music and graphical design expanded you're imagination in every way possible. I almost wish everything would go back to the way things were then. But sadly it'll never happen. :(

  • STEP ONE: Hit the pause button

STEP TWO: Go to rainymood . com

    STEP THREE: Hit play

  • @LOLURCATS Nah I only do that when I'm listing to 'A River Flows In You' by Yiruma.

  • @LOLURCATS Holy crap,that's awesome.

  • @LOLURCATS Oh my God, that's perfect haha.

  • @LOLURCATS now i feel Xtremely nostalgic!!! i think this calls for a DKC marathon!

  • @LOLURCATS Wow you're gay.

  • one of the best soundtracks ever created hands down

  • Pains me to say the old cliche but they don't make them like this anymore.

Still got my SNES and N64 set up just to play and listen to these gems!

  • @jonezy1234 Me too :) if I had to choose only 2 game consoles to keep with me for the rest of my life...it'd DEFINITELY be the SNES (well it's no longer just a SNES, it's like a NES and SNES combo console) and N64. There's so many good games and nostalgia from them. They're just part of my childhood I don't want to rid of.

  • Just imagine this playing while walking through an aquarium. ^_^

  • So f-in Bjuutiful........ <3

  • I blazed mad chicks to this song

  • As much as I hate underwater levels, this one had some damn good music.

Just like the rest of DKC.

  • Amazing game, and music, man.

  • This is my first video game ever, played it when i was 3 (im 19 now , my brother sold it for Super Mario Allstars though, but luckily i got this game back. Still got my SNES in the attic and it works perfectly=] 1 of my favourite games of all time.

  • @PurpleRain123453 I, too, was born in '96, and I still experienced this, its sequel, Super Mario World, and Super Mario 64. Ahh, what masterpieces. I miss the '90's, even though I barely remember them.

  • i did a cover i really would appreciate any feedback people would love to give on my "Aquatic Ambiance"!!

  • I miss the old days so much... I only appreciate the late 90's and early 2000 now that I look at games nowadays... The games today are fine, but there's something about them that makes it difficult for them to match up to these oldies

This music... It's on repeat on Itunes right now, and it isn't going to stop anytime soon :')

  • why 14 dislikes ...............WHY ?

  • When I was little, this was my first game. My mother didn't play very much, but she liked the water levels. She passed away within a year of getting the game, so since then, I've always thought of her when I play the levels, or hear the music. I've never told anyone that. Thanks Donkey Kong.

  • @RevolverPhantom What a sweet story. I wish you all the best.

  • @RevolverPhantom It is sad that society brands video games as a hostile utility for people, when it means so much more.

  • @RevolverPhantom Man, that's so sad. I'm so sorry...I wish you the best.

  • @RevolverPhantom I feel like I misjudged it as a child, only in the last 4 or 5 years have I grown to like it, now I am 21 and I still like it. I mean to say that I played it when I was 8-10 then forgot about it. Played it around age 17 liked it. It grows on you to say the least. Most videogames had these awesome songs as well.

  • @RevolverPhantom I'm very sorry to hear that man. I lost someone very close to me a few years ago too. She may no longer be here but when I hear this song, she's right here next to me. Treasure those memories everyday bud.

  • @RevolverPhantom Sorry for your lost. This song reminds me of my cousin who got shot and killed this year, on his birthday to be exact. He was born in the 90's and he told he played DKC and got to the last water level. I'm glad you got through in these hard times.

  • @GravoForce12958 dude i have no idea why this comment makes me laugh so hard but im sorry to hear your cousin was gone

  • @RevolverPhantom damn dude that shit actually hit me deep along with the music i feel like crying ;/

  • @RevolverPhantom ugh man, that's one of the saddest fucking things I have read yet. may your mommy RIP in Heaven forever

  • I'm sad that I was born in 96. I never got to experience when the world was good.

  • @PurpleRain123453 i feel ya man!

  • Comment removed

  • @PurpleRain123453

It's not easy for us born in the later half of the 90's :c

  • @PurpleRain123453 The world was not good, the games were =P

  • @MishkaSky both were if you were a kid back then

  • @PurpleRain123453

    Right there with you buddy.

  • @PurpleRain123453 Same man, I'm turning 16 in january ^^

I grew up with only a super nintendo and had no idea what I play station was, I was lucky for my age.

  • I grew up on intellivision then I got a NES and it blew my mind. Then the SNES blew my mind even more.

  • @PurpleRain123453 ah, if only you could have experienced the late 80's/early 90's! it was the best time for video games and anime movies! playing One Must Fall 2097 on my old 486 was magic

  • @PurpleRain123453 same thing here. But the for my 15th Birthday i wished a Snes. You can't believe what's that for a feeling

  • @PurpleRain123453 I was also born in 1996. I know that feeling all too well...

  • awesome tune here wow cool indeed

  • This song I have always seen as healing or meditation music because it helps with stress and anxiety. It can even be used to make love to. I'm just saying.....other than that its beautiful :-)

  • It would be awesome to see this song as the first movement in a medley that finished with Super Metroid's Green Brinstar theme.

  • Oh Donkey Kong! How I spent my entire childhood saving your banana hoard!

  • Ironically, after being the worst decade ever for music in general, the 90s had the BEST video game music by far.

  • @effectus Worst music?? i dont know what kind of music you were listening to.. but yes. BEST games by far!(:

  • Days I'll Never Get Back

  • @TRKTKO i think the after life will be very similar to the feeling your refering too

  • @thevisi0naryy I agree with you 100% my friend : ) Best Wishes

  • Good old days<3 Simple times.

  • imagine you have a slow, sensual sexytime with your girlfriend...

  • @SquatterLoki

    Holy shit, you're right.

This would be an amazing song to bang to.

  • @SquatterLoki if you're girlfriend is a monkey, yea

  • @effectus *poker face*

  • @effectus oh well... whatever that turns you on.

  • this is magical if u just close ur eyes an let the choon wash over you! rare/snes combo were not worthy.

  • what a fucking genius, the mode changes are incredible.

  • Most beautiful sea levels ever...

  • Comment removed

  • First time I heard this I was like "is this.. coming from the game??"

  • Let the sea of memories come flowing back to you...

  • muy bonita melodia sin palabras =(

  • One of the best sondtracks EVER!

  • i teared a little hearing this *sigh*

  • This is the original if you like this song watch the band Monkey kong version of this song its epic!

  • This music puts tears in my eyes. It just reminds me of the days of me playing games with my friends when I was young.

  • donkey kong country is one of my favourite platform games.

  • It's been probably 15 years since I've given this game a proper go. Got to do it again. Great music.

  • honestly if i am having a shittty day this song can make things better

  • This song is so hard for me to listen to... Gives me feelings words can't even explain. Nostalgia is hard to explain

  • Sorry if double posted but I always had my Donkey Kong 64 game like forever, I think I'm going continue to play Donkey Kong games until the end of my time.

  • I used to played DKC games since I was 9+ years old, now that I'm 23 I play Donkey Kong 64... ~_~

  • nostalgic....

  • Always thought this sounded like Playboy Channel Soft Core Porn music

  • watch?v=hJk_ygHxZxo&feature=channel_video_title

no I'm not self promoting, or promoting a friend, I'm promoting the most epic cover of all time.

  • @Pyrofreak321 this man speaks the truth

  • @Pyrofreak321 YOU're DAMN RIGHT! I know the cover already but this Cover is by far the best video game theme cover in history =)

  • Actually, I think it was in 1995

  • Haha the only DK I got was the third one, but I played the first one at my cousin's house in 1997 I think.. now I'm 21 haha

  • I was born in 1993 so I only remember the end of the 90s.

This game is something I still remember from that time too (:

  • Comment removed

  • When I see the cover of this game I hate the world a little less.

  • @Hojunhu

I hate it a little more because i'm not 10 years old anymore, and they don't make games like this anymore

  • @Hojunhu You're wonderful =)

  • Remember, this song you are hearing was written for a sound chip with 64KB of RAM. Yes Kilobytes. And even still, only the first 32KB was usable. So you had 32KB to put the sound program, and the samples.

Still amazes me what they could do with such little space.

  • How can people dislike such kind of wonder of world like this :/

  • 90s...

    ...old times, good times.

  • @Maradovitch Hey guess what Ronald Mallett is trying to make a Time Machine so maybe in the next 10

years we can go back to the 1990s.
