Lee Sklar is one of the bassist of all time and always phenomenal with P.C. but in this rare instance, beaten by the original lines by Mike Rutherford. Whether Leland didn't want repeat the original or was just stubborn in trying to create something of his own is a mystery to me. Doesn't really work.

Fuck up your life was re-added for the Genesis 2007 tour and lead to a funny censoring issue with the BBC when they recorded the brief Live Aid appearance.

@Shypuff He did in 1993 before rejoining the band in 2000 and for the re-union tour 2007. The band wasn't declared dead after so while they're inactive Phil is the singer and drummer.

@chrisn0224 Phil copied Genesis as Invisible Touch is a Genesis tune from the 1986 album "Invisible Touch", which makes it kinda obvious. I'm not sure if this counts as copying though as Phil had a part in writing this and is/was the band's frontman.

For the fans Genesis is and has been a true team with different constellations, songs like Afterglow wouldn't have been possible without Tony Banks.

I went to see Phil Collins in concert a few years ago. I had an awsome time. His music is geared towards everyone. Not just one type of person. It's the kind of music that just makes you feel good. It can be sad too, but sometimes when you have a sad situation, and you listen to sad music, it puts your mind into deep thought. Like if someone passes away, it's amazing how each song you listen to reminds you of how precious life is. So Phils music takes care of that.
