  • every youtube bridge tutorial is crap. no offence but its freaking slow and dry. each and every one of them

  • what are you doing with your mouse pointer on youtube.

  • The bidding doesn't seem to be right in my opinion. He was lucky to find a singleton heart opposite QJx when he boldly bid 4NT. Even then, the slam is hardly better than 50%, as he requires a working diamond finesse or a singleton queen of diamonds, or he needs to be lucky enough to drop the king (or the 10 when he played the queen and had it covered) of clubs in 3 rounds. I personally believe that driving this hand to slam opposite a limit raise is not winning bridge in the long run.

  • wow can he be any more boring, and he doesn't even know what he is talking about

  • 4clubs better then cuebid up the line, but i guss 4nt is fine for teaching beginners/newcomers

  • It would also have been fairly embarassing if dummy had 2 small hearts instead of 1.

  • Declarer is roughly what I would call an "average club player". 4C cuebid is definitely superior to 4NT! I think it would have been quite funny if the computer didn't allow him to change his pass of the Blackwood response!!

  • Totally misplayed, declarer should play to roff out the king of clubs then he has no need for the diamond finesse

  • That doesnt work with 8 clubs in defence..

  • I would say 4C would be better (cuebid) and if you hear 4H from your partner, you can then bid 4NT to find your exact position.

  • OK shall i just offer my critique now? (I play internationally at junior level)

I hate the 4NT bid. There's no reason that your partner couldn't have bid 3S with say:

    T96 T94 KQJ4 KQ8

This hand opposite yours is barely making 4S,nevermind 6. It is generally agreed a slam needs to be 80% to be good, this is a little under 50%.

  • you are very amateur player. your cards perfect but every time you think

  • Recording volume up at least to twice.

How about doing an advert for Bridgebase Dot Com?
