actually i think this growler is... i dont like to use this word but now it matches... lame :s his growl isnt very deep for a male i can get deeper as female, his voice isnt scratchy which i like alot and he sometimes fails when using throat growl... well ive actually heard alot better growlers than him, sorry

Screw you all. Johan rocks, but Angela rules. No other woman will ever beat her voice, and so doesn't Johan. I like Johan, but I prefer Angela. All she does is making AE not a band like the others, but she makes it unique. It's like Nightwish, with Tarja and Annette ;) But anyway, Angela rocks, but I also like Johan ;)

Arch Enemy was going to change their sound no matter what, it wasnt the singer change... They arent the type of band who is going to write the same album over and over and over. Which i like a lot more, because i love both eras equally and it wouldve sucked ass if they tried to re-write a burning bridges album.

just because there songs are more catchy and less gothenburg influenced....doesnt mean its less musical.....writing a good catchy song is fuckin hard to do...not to mention now they have there own distinct sound....and less of that at the gates feel....no disrespect to there earlier work it is very good in its own sense....it just pisses me off when people say a band goes soft when they try and come up with catchy riffs that arent just as many notes as they can fit infront of a thrash drum beat
