In all fairness, the movie captured a realistic plane crash, all the haters should grow up. The fact that they showed all of the grim and disturbing details of a airliner crash and the post effects is impressive.

The other engine would keep the aircraft going relatively straight, and the wing is weaker than the bridge so it would not survive the impact, thus not be like, lets say dropping a rock on concrete, it bounces up, instead the wing would just break off and the aircraft continue on going..

Maybe, but it isn't as though this sort of carnage could be filmed without CGI (actually blowing up a plane would, even if possible, be unbelievably expensive); so CGI may have ruined it, but it also made it possible.

@ers586 Actually, Pilot error is exactly what caused Tenerife. Among other things. But we must look at aviation disasters themselves, there really is no one single thing that goes wrong. There is a root problem sometimes, that may lead to further, perhaps smaller, problems up to the crash. I'm not 100% certain but I would think Big Airline Industries have limited liability. So A charter flight would be the equivalent to a small business in that aspect. I don't know much about Charter flights :[
