@McMIxTER no offense to you, but that wasn't a good choice. Anyways... My suggestion is to remove all those task killers if you have Android 2.2 or above. They actually hurt the phone.

In addition, I ultimately suggest rooting. You can remove TouchWiz (which will free up most of your storage space).

If you don't want to root I'd stick with removing those task killers.

If you really have such horrible battery life that you need this, please reply with what phone you have and how long battery life lasts for you. I'm curious. My phone lasts two days of heavy use easily, and if I want to I can push it to over three days.

@smoshrules459 Samsung Galaxy Mini = lasts 3hours. lowest brightess, advanced task killer pro, advanced task manager pro, juice defender ultimate used. W T F its also my first android phone and i shut down unnecessary apps and everything!

@smoshrules459 I've got an HTC Wildfire S. They're known for having short battery life but mine will last a full day without dying, even with (what I consider) heavy usage, volume at max, and brightness set to 50%. In my opinion, it's not so much about having a crap-battery because no matter how long a battery will last, adding more time to that is always a plus.

@meerak87 No it does not. Actually it is better for the battery as it is not being constantly discharged and then charged up again.
