The red health pack is a berseker pack- if your health is below 100%, it replenishes it back to 100%.

It also massively powers up your fist attack to roughly the damage of a rocket blast until the end of the level.

After picking one up you don't have to use your fists but it automatically switches to a fist upon pick up.

It's a berserker pack- if you've got less than 100 health, it replenishes it and it also powers up your fists so they can do about as much damage as a rocket until the end of the level.

ZDoom works with all the Doom engine games (Doom 1, Doom 2, Plutonia Experiment, TNT Evilution, Heretic 1, Hexen 1, Strife). to run these games, just copy their WAD file to the ZDoom folder, run ZDoom and choose which of them you want to play.

I just downloaded Doom 2 yesterday and played it for the first time. I'm somewhere in level 3 now, I think. Nice to see what is waiting for me. I also like the music on my wavetable card. Plays well on Vista using Dosbox in 800x600 resolution, the lowest one available on my PC.
