  • You wants facts? That is a supernova of a distant star, not a planet. The image you're showing here is actually 2 images in one. The blue ball is from a 1985 radio image of the star and the orange is from 2007 which is an x ray image.

The orange is hot gases, which is the result from the explosion. This is exactly what happens when a star explodes.

  • Now this is good feedback. This is what I want to hear.

So, this is basically a comparison photo...before and now.

  • it was jupiter :)

  • cool, never thought it was anything nefarious. Not yet.

Dang, there are a lot of disaster movies out there.

We were wondering bout that as well, in fact we were standing outside wondering the same thing last night. We got too tired to look it up.

    Thanks.

  • Today I did something revolutionary. I went outside and looked at the sky instead of my computer. I'm wondering what is the really bright object near Sagittarius. Visible at its highest near midnight. With my 10x binoculars I can see it has moons around it. Over several days I've seen this object and its moons. It's too low in the sky to be a known planet. Does anybody here do any amateur astronomy and knows what it is? I'm in latitude 46deg more or less. You just need binos to see the moons.

  • Is Eris, that NASA has named and plotted, the feared Nibiru? According to NASA Eris is a newly discovered kuiper belt object in a highly eliptical orbit, much like the one Nibiru is supposedly in, with an orbit of 547 years, or something like that, as opposed to the 3600 year supposed orbit of Nibiru. Do people seem to think that NASA has found Nibiru and called it Eris and changed the distances and orbital path? I can't seem to get a straight answer on this.

  • Yup...that is what they say.

Keep in mind the vatican said it is okay to believe in aliens. google "project blue beam". Note the fact that Dr Who is going to have a show friday that parallels this.

    Odd..

  • I thought nasa already found Nibiru and they call it Eris?

  • possibley so, they keep changing names to confuse people, like the NWO, they are changing it to Strategic Global Allience....sweet.

  • just some facts , so dont be narrow minded scientist and professor are looking , for them to look they must believe there is some truth in planet x , maybe not all true but it dont have to be . it is possible for a planet to be in long orbit , chances of it impacting us 0% , but depending on its size and how close it come to us could cause some effects on us , that why the search is on to find out the truth , time will answers all ?s

  • Dr. Radu Popa PHD is a Professor of Geobiology and Astrobiology at the University of Southern California (USC). Dr. Popa has a PHD in Ecology, a PHD in Microbiology, and was a Post Doctoral Scholar at the California Institute of Technology - Jet Propulsion Laboratory - NASA, Pasadena. has theories of best spot to see planet x and why you cant becasue of volcanic in that regein

  • NEW RELEASE: 2005-126 July 29, 2005

The planet was discovered using the Samuel Oschin Telescope at Palomar

Observatory near San Diego , Calif. The discovery was announced today by

planetary scientist Dr. Mike Brown of the California Institute of

Technology in Pasadena , Calif. , whose research is partly funded by nasa

A planet larger than Pluto has been discovered in the outlying

regions of the solar system. ................

  • Our solar system is by no means fully mapped and charted. Much of its territory is still unknown, and many astronomers have hypothesized from indirect observation that other substantial objects could still exist undetected in its farthest reaches

  • nasa press statament in 1983 "A heavenly body possibly as large as the giant planet Jupiter and possibly so close to Earth that it would be part of this solar system has been found in the direction of the constellation Orion by an orbiting telescope... 'All I can tell you is that we don't know what it is', said Gerry Neugebauer, chief IRAS scientist. ......

  • Many scientist believe there could be up to 12 unfound planets in our solar system and one appears to be found in 2005

  • .............since its existence is inferred from a different set of data; however there is the possibility that both sets of data could be true for the same object.

  • Dr. John Murray of the Open University and John Matese of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette believe that the motions of long-term comets in the sky suggest the existence of a large, distant planet, or, more likely, a small substellar companion such as a Brown dwarf, in the deep solar system. This hypothetical substellar object is not Nemesis, ................

  • nasa soon retracted there press statement , why?// , it was the first and last time nasa retracted a press statement . nasa never makes press statement unless they have all the facts and proof so why retact ?????

  • In 1982, NASA themselves officially recognized the possibility of Planet X, with an announcement that 'some kind of mystery object is really there - far beyond the outermost planets'. One year later, the newly launched IRAS (Infrared Astronomical Satellite) spotted a large mysterious object in the depths of space. The Washington Post summarized an interview with the chief IRAS scientist from JPL, California, as follows:

  • The discovery of new planets has, in the last two hundred years, owed more to the science of mathematics than it has to the design of bigger and better telescopes. The unaccounted-for mathematical irregularities in the orbits of the outer planets have prompted astronomers to speculate upon the existence of a further, undiscovered planet. Astronomers are so certain of this planet's existence that they have already named it 'Planet X' - the Tenth Planet.

  • many scientist believe there could be up to 12 unfound planets in our solar system

  • Recent calculations by the United States Naval Observatory have confirmed the orbital perturbation exhibited by Uranus and Neptune, which Dr. Thomas C Van Flandern, an astronomer at the observatory, says could be explained by "a single undiscovered planet".

  • Lykawka, an astronomer at Kobe University in Japan, suspects a ninth planet as large as Earth is hiding beyond Pluto. So far, this frigid "super-Pluto" has escaped detection. But not for much longer, Lykawka hopes. "Within five years or so, we will know for sure if it exists."

  • Robert Harrington of the U.S. Naval Observatory in Washington, D. C., who has long searched for Planet X.

  • alright usually I'm a nice person, but this video is horrible. The quality hurts my eyes just to look at it, and most important of all, where is the evidence aside from your personal assumptions.

  • It was really just audio that was the point, not the video...sorry, I will be sure that is clear next time, or put up a better vid.

  • Oh look, another poster of G1.9+0.3 the supernova hundreds of lightyears away. The "search for nibiru" never existed.

  • no matter where it is half will always be able to see it. Shine a light at a globe you will see half of that globe.

  • Funny how it looks like a ball of fire...coming from Sagittarius, the archer... A flaming arrow.

Whether PlanetX/Nibiru really exists is obviously in question. However, too many coincidences are showing it is possible for it to exist. Now, will it destroy the Earth like many claim?...IMO, no.. But it will destroy the destructive mind set of mankind once it's existence is realized. We currently use 10% of our brains... Get ready for a percentage upgrade!

  • I wish, need that upgrade NOW.

  • Thanks for posting this. It is a teeny weeny bit

suspicious NASA revealing this dangling info and the picture too when the Vatican have just released information regarding Aliens and wotnot. Add to that England is releasing UFO so

called X file documents regarding UFO's ??? Some Big Comes This Way !

  • Very interesting point, NASA has a "release" and the vatican says it is ok to believe in aliens because they are still god's children...hmmm

  • again im not a religious fanatic but vatican? This is my point how religion always seems to cross into the topic. My real question is how does Sumer (modern day Iraq) tie into this if at all.

  • he is telling you where it is look in the archer.

  • the archer.

  • Interesting point
