@xmanciusx if you have traktor scratch pro you can only see the options "send midi clock" and "midi clock offset". don't worry you don't need anything else. just make sure your send midi clock option is turned on. then go on controller manager and create a generic midi. then set the out - port (on the top right corner) as "driver iac" or "traktor virtual output", it's the same... but you have to set in ableton the same midi port you're using in traktor.

hi when I go to audio midi setup I see only an audio setup no any midi why?cant see iac driver to...and wen i go to midi clock setup on my traktor i can see only the mark with send midi clock and midi clock sending offset...and in this video i can see midi devise input and output on traktor midi settings window... how do i do that?

If you have a newer version of Traktor you have to go to the Controller Manager tab instead of the Midi Setup. Select Generic MIDI as device and select the output you want under Out-Port in the top right corner. You don't need to use the IAC bus though, you can just use Traktor Virtual Output instead.

And make sure you press the play button in the midi-clock tab in the top left corner of the main screen.

what version of traktor scratch pro you'r using? i'm using the 1.2.4 and i don't see in the midi setup the option to send midi out. although i've already have activated the AIC midi on my mac. I does not work for me. It's there a method to make internal midi clock that it works?

I've done this trick before, but it doesn't actually work well... clock drifts a bit, quite unstable. anyone knows how to fix this?

Use the new built-in Traktor MIDI Output it seems to be more accurate than the other clock.

I'm using Traktor Pro 1.2.4, creating a generic midi device with outport= IAC drive inside the Controller Manager.

@ltitruck12 get a driver called "midi yoke" (if running vista you need to turn off user account control or it will not install) and then get a driver called "virtual audio cable".

the midi yoke is the windows equivalent of iac for mac and the virtual audio cable is the windows equivalent of soundflower.

Shame on the douche who gave you a thumbs down (which has now been corrected =)) Most Mac users are pretentious assholes.... I've tried going the Asio4All route using Virtual Audio Cable. It's a pain to set up & once you're done, you'll experience some latency, especially if you're trying to use Ableton as your external mixer. Anyone know of a better alternative? As for Apple users: I've heard that mac's internal "aggregate" will give you better, lower latency results than soundflower.

As I said in the video. There are numerous effects in Ableton you can use to spice up Traktor's signal. And above that Ableton is able to fire a few Loops of their own, which makes it even more interesting while DJing. (Remixing stuff live with those two programs eg)

this is a great tutorial... its about the same on pc, but windows doesnt come with any software that allows you to do so. Eangolden, on his website has a nice tutorial explaining how to do it on windows.

I wonder tho if you can trigger loops on ableton and stay beatmatched with the audio running from traktor. Maybe you could answer this or w.e, as i havent really tried this :p
