they had him go to the grocery store and he had a heart attack while at the grocery store and they called kate and told her. last words kate said to paul was about getting milk and I believe and the last thing bridget said to her dad was i hate you, so it kinda goes on that for the first eps into the next season, always makes me cry when I watch it because the actors were all really close to him so its real tears, which brings me to tears more so, and just the overall feel
