  • The one with roadshow television and morgan creek is my favorite one.

  • When I was 5 years old 6:31 always scared me when I was watching Hi-5

  • @alooolulyz75 WHAT IS THAT ON 3:08?

  • 2:27 That scared the fuck outta me.

  • Damn, they should use these logos in the USA and Canada.

  • @cameron20101000 they do use them in Some American/Australian movies such as Happy Feet (2005).

  • @alooolulyz75 I mean, Roadshow Home Video logos

I do see Village Roadshow Pictures logo all the time.

  • Hm I never understand Roadshow ... xD

  • The full length version with Morgan Creek you had on here was the best.. is the same version they use at Village Cinemas.

  • yes i remember seeing these as a kid in the 80s and being scared..esp of the horror movies that followed or things like Rambo and Lone WOlf macqaude..

  • The early Roadshow jingles used to scare the crap out of me as a kid! Still find them oddly menacing for video idents!

  • That early Village Roadshow one is /really/ scary...

  • first one used from 1982-1986 the second one used from 1986-1992 the third one used from 1992-present

  • The 1992-1995 Roadshow Entertainment ident appeared on some Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog tapes i bought from a charity shop.

  • The last time I saw this video I didn't comment, because I didn't felt like commenting it and this time I did. I love the flash of Shiny light showing a Australia country and it said Roadshow The Australian Company, cool and the music is like wow, inspiring, beautiful and it's like long ago from the 80s it's like a adventure and it's like we missed the 80s, but I wasn't even born there. The other version Village Roadshow in the late 80s looks like a cartoon animation version then the 90s one.

  • I love those early 80's roadshow idents, always enjoyed the music on them.

  • The early 80's roadshow ident music is great, kinda eerie but the united artist early 80's ident is the sad one.

  • My dad got a Villiage Roadshow DVD and sorryfor My bad english

  • I agree with Bezowski in his comments. The early tune of Roadshow is haunting with a bit of sadness and gives me the goosebumps everytime I hear it. I guess because it was from so long ago (Mad Max and others) that makes it so memorable. The value of Youtube is really shown in rare video uploads like this, thanks so much AussieRoadshow!

  • Now this roadshow ident brings back memories as a kid watching Mad Max. Those were the days!

  • u have lots a videos!

  • crappy

  • Ahhh seeing brief Fire and Ice clip in one of the promo's brought back some cool memories. There's an awesome release of this Ralph Bakshi classic by Blue Underground. Highly recommended for Bakshi fans.

  • Just so you know, the Roadshow indent that starts at 3:25 had another version going "Congratulations on buying another superb title" etc, unfortunately I don't have a copy of it ATM.

  • Wow that roadshow music from 1982 is quite sad, eerie and foreboding. It's funny how music you haven't heard since you were a kid can give you goosebumps and trigger off memories. This reminds me of watching Mad Max on beta.
