I always thought Mia sounded like she was strung out on something when she did this featurette. She sounds like shes done quaaludes  with all her slurred ramblings.

Well, Mia might have done drugs...they all did in the 60's, includingg actors/actresses LOL She was a hippie sympathizer, it was popular to be light & airy. Mia followed the Beatles to India as a spiritual pilgrimage. She was just a gal of her time. She was not as outspoken, political or in-your-face preachy liberal as Jane Fonda. She was a "quiet hippie".

Well, the hippie/love thing that Roman spoke of so admiringly certainly had its dark crazy side too. The Manson Family sure acted like hippies till they stabbed Roman's pregnant wife scores of times.

Mia comes across as a pretty dippy airhead in some of her real-life comments, and it's interesting because the character of Rosemary never appears like this. But her peace 'n' love thing was just part of the times.
