It's one of the best videos ever made about a sports car, let alone a Porsche 911.

That said, there are all kinds of Porsche sports cars - ALL kinds. They all have different characteristics. Over the years the Germans have produced collectively the finest engineered race cars in history. Thier legacy is unrivaled in endurance racing. This is one of the wonderful aspects of owning a Porsche. Driving a legitimate legendary marque. I prefer the older cars for every day driving, such as the 356C :)

Awesome Video! I have one of Cab variety, sounds better than my '80 SC that turned me on to the breed. The 993 is the best Porsche ever... Top down... over 5K rpm and still going doesn't sound any better... air cooled, awesome throttle response, No F'ing SUBSTITUTE! Drive one you'll get the commercial!

'95 Cabriolet. My first Porsche was a'80 911 SC Targa. I loved the old car which is still running (over 300k mi) and in the hands of a good friend. However... the 993 is 100 times better than the old SC in comfort and performance.

But the old SC still sounds great!
