cool vid man but there s such a thing as proper grip and I really think you ought to teach her the proper grip...I shoot competiitvely so I do now what I am talking about...just let her try it out , experiment a bit and see how it works for her.
I have an XDm as well in 9mm. That is 100% a Viridian Green Lasersight mounted on the picatinny of that XDm. I have the exact same lasersight for my Taurus 24/7 .40 Pro (Though it can easily be switched between the two). Bulky, but awesome, and can definitely be seen during broad daylight, and well.

Nice XDm. I have one too in 9mm. Also, that is 100% a Viridian Green Lasersight mounted on the picatinny of that XDm. good lord, everyone is an expert online. but that's one fine Springfield. the full size 40xdm is amazing out of the box too. but you cant beat 19+1 in the 9...stock...
@treeshaker628 I understand that you're not asking for anyone's opinion on hand placement, but there is a right way and a wrong way, and just because it makes someone feel comfortable, doesnt mean it's effective and they can hit what they are aiming at.. Saw a guy at the range 3 days ago, holding his pistol with his right hand and grasping his right wrist with his left hand, and he couldn't put a group together to save his life at 8 yards, i'm talking feet between where each round impacted
if you were to try to help the person you wouldnt need to be pushy about it, maybe just suggest to them once or twice that a semi-auto they should
press the weak hand against the side of the frame instead of doing the cup-saucer hold because its not a revolver.
though i agree if someone is just going to shoot the gun a few times for fun i mean there isnt any point in bugging them about it i guess. its probably more tasteful i suppose to give advice when someone actually asks for it.
You're right everyone does use a different grip for shooting, but there are more effective/ergonomic ways to do so. a proper thumbs forward grip would have helped to manage recoil way better and perhaps be more accurate.
just because you drive with only one hand on the steering wheel it doesn't mean its the best way to do so, so why not use both hands at 10 and 2, if its proven to be safer and easier way to drive.
i wouldnt say it is annoying.. it is kinda distracting tho. the finger roll in between shots but if that is how you feel comfortable shooting you do your thing! it just distracts you when you are watching the video thats all.
Shes prob better off shooting off the gun in your pants then a real firearm...

I thought hogs were supposed to be the ones being shot at, not vice versa?

nice to see an xd9 and not a glock , thanks....

It's clear neither of you know how to properly grip a pistol.
wbraun88 7 months ago
@wbraun88 I agree. The cup with the off-hand provides no support whatsoever. Might as well shoot one handed.

@treeshaker628 don't post a video if you don't expect it to be critiqued.

@mistersb7 , Sure! that is pretty basic; the throttle is on the right grip, don't use the left one or you won't go anywhere, easy!!!
