@Lzycooldude69 actually the forum ice has always been 200x85...same as it is now and the same as all current NHL ice surfaces...only a handful of rinks had smaller ice than the standard 200x85: Boston Garden, Buffalo Memorial Auditorium,Chicago Stadium,Detroit Olympia were all stadiums with smaller than 200x85 ice surfaces...of course all rinks are the regulation 200x85.

Afternoon playoff games were so great back then...often times the playoffs were during easter holidays and all the cousins and uncles would be in the living room watching the game....while the women prepared a big late lunch...then it would be the post game discussion over desert and coffee...my fondest childhood memories
