  • I'd just like to also add that i'd much much rather listen to a hoover than have to listen to fuckin' oasis anyday.

  • it surely has an effect on me as well, since i remember myself i can sleep like in 10mins max when i am listening to the sound of a vacuum cleaner or a hair dryer or a washing machine or even a cooker-hood. anyone has any idea if this is a syndrome or something? tnx

  • this type of noise keeps me focused while studying

  • same here!

  • @wrathchild1111 i like this sound..it is like a drug for me,,,and i learn better with it too x)

  • would you mind posting something very much like this except much more low pitch, with some real bass to it. this is great, but i really not only have to hear it, but feel it as well. ive got my computer hooked up to my stereo surround sound, and theres not a single video on youtube that provides a low pitch white noise.

this ones not bad... but i can hear a very high pitch squeal that goes in and out constantly.

  • When I was growing up I used to think I was strange how a Hoover used to draw me to sit down and really relaxe. Now a days even on the coldest of nights I have a large fan blowing on me just so the drone sends me to sleep. It was not until about a year back Im 34 now that I stummbled across White noice. Until then I thought I was strange, maybe I am

  • @thegoodguppie

I was going to give thumbs up in agreement but hit wrong button. I get the same thing off washing machines and hairdryers too.

  • I wouldn't worry about it mate...i'm 37 and i still make hoover tapes that i fall asleep to every night and wake up to every morning. the trick is to record about 20 mins worth and then repeat/loop it round for the whole tape, plus i've got an auto-reverse tape deck in my bedroom which is why the tape is still playing when i wake up in the morning. i dont think its weird.....people have much stranger ways of helping them relax.

  • agree

why woul it be wierd? some people like the sond of the ocean, they find it relaxing, we like hoover... thats all

  • @ FecOoOoOo

lol i like the way u say "we like hoover": )

  • This is by far the best audio of white noise on youtube.. Please run this again, but make it about five hours. I haven't slept in months! I have to loop it on greasemonkey/loopy/mozilla right now. Thanks!

  • thank you sooo much!!! i'm watching my cuz's 2 1/2 month old and he really likes your vaccum noises! ^^

  • i kind of find rewinding vcr's relaxing.

  • please can i have mp3?

  • mp3 please :)

  • whoa. i listened to this for 10 seconds and now im realllllyy drowsy............

  • can i get the mp3 please?

  • if you use firefox, you can get a tool called youtube to mp3, it's easy to use, and you can download any youtube video to mp3

  • mp3 please sometimes this is the only thing that puts my 6mnth old to sleep

  • Thanks for posting this. Very relaxing.

  • Other good household appliances for white noise, IMO are washing machines, tumble dryers and dishwashers. Fans too but they are a little too quiet

  • this calm me too ;P

  • THX!

  • thank you i favorite this and made a playlist, with this one being the first it helps me so much getting my twins to sleep in 2 minutes, used to take hours, since they are teething!

  • Thanks, I need white noise for when I get stressed.

  • hairdryer and vacuum cleaner relax!

  • This really is a lifesaver! My baby son is having a terrible time with colic at the moment and listening to the hoover is the only way to get him to settle. Now I can put my hoover away for the first time in days!!
