@cobi0002 He's been playing mostly acoustic since his surgery his electric is really heavy so he hasnt been playing it much. Also his son Ben is playing lead and Hag wants him to shine also.

I frist saw Merle back in the 60s. I had tickets for a show last summer. He had to cancel his tour because he got sick. Hope he comes back to east tn. some time soon. Thanks for posting.

My grandfather made me go see him in 1988 because I hated country music at the age of 13. I left that concert and all I wanted to listen to was country. It was Merle, Conway, and George Jones. I have been to see him every time he comes in to town since then.
