You have no idea lol, the connection status is completely based on ping times.

If you have 20ms ping, and only 512kb/s download + upload speed, you will still be full green.

@xScotteY Makes no difference my ass. I went from DSL to Fiber Optic and then back to DSL because i moved and lemme tell you. Its a huge fucking difference. 30 - 65 ping > 80 - 125

I've always been a 3 bar warrior. It's much harder to do "running and gunning" so I go with the aggressive "camping" strategy. I don't think i've ever had a 4 bar connection to a host, ever. It is rather disappointing but that's life. As they say, the show must go on.

I notice the same thing. I was using an ak47 without steady aim against another person with a famas (without steady aim). I held my crosshairs still and began firing about 1-2 seconds before them. They sprayed (left to right a LOT) and got 3 hit markers and I died. I play on PC and have frequent lag spikes (going from 30 ping/4 bars to 200 ping/1-2 bars). Even in ADS aiming at the enemy the whole time (5m away), I still have to fire 15 rounds before they die.

You know that the most shots you made and said it was bad connection you just missed some? xD Bad connection is when you shoot the enemy and then you can see in the killcam that for him: I didnt shoot a bullet at all.

My internet connection is never very good, and i most commonly have a 2 or 3 bar connection. Added to that, I play on ps3 which has so much lag regardless. It definately can turn you into a more campish player, because you have get the first few shots of to ensure the kill when you don't have good connection.

HaHa I bet you never did this, I had a rolling thunder, chopper gunner, and gunship on nuketown, and connection interrupted is in my face...Shrap you can change who you play with in the world when your at the multiplayer menu, you press select and change it to local or whatever you like.
