been on the Gem and stayed in the garden courtyard villa in 2010 and for my 21st birthday it couldnt be better, just 5 people came but we made use of the 3 bed rooms it was kind of foolish but i had a blast. love the video
I found that after my I booked this same room on the NCL Pearl, my family is having a hard time going back to a normal mini suite. Did you get this on a strait booking or an upsell like us?
I have stayed in the courtyard villa, a couple of times, on the Jewel and the Gem. I travel with my wife and her brother, and it works out good value for money, rather than my brother in law paying a single supplement, Shame there are not many other cruise ships offer this type of stateroom. Hope you enjoyed it

We upgraded to the suite at some point before the cruise - It is hard to go back to a regular cabin after a suite like this!

Yes, we like to spend the extra money on the villa suites. Makes the cruise that much better for us :-)
