how do you keep your sweeps so clean? i can sweep but i can bearly hear it for the ambient noise that the initial strings make. any advice on how to clean it up?

@fretrippa Mute everystring you touched when going down and/or up.

@fretrippa ya pretty much start out probably muting every note when your sweeping then let off your muting hand slightly till you find the right balance of where things should be muted and how much pressure to apply...also i think alot of my sweeping is legato but the legato doesn't work for the bared sweeps...hope that helps

@ThrasherMasher thanks man, never tried that approach before. i tried something that michael angelo batio does by placing your fretting fingers a litle bit past the strings you're actually playing so that the tip of your finger rests on the previous string but i couldn't get that to work. should have known better than to try to do what batio does lol.
