@iloverush123 Its my understanding they own the guitar division, I'm not certain they own the drum rights. That's why they had to ask Fred about using the name on the guitars.
I do not agree with the last old style luthier thing, There are so many luthiers out there that work entirely by hand. Steve Klein is one, and also one of the best luthiers ever to live
Now when they say "60th anniversary" is that from the first prototype completion or since the first release, because that's a one year difference, either 1949 or 1950.
This guy is Mike Eldred who's been working for Fender and in the Custom Shop for almost 15 years.
He has huge passion, knowledge and pride for what he does and a real appreciation for the history of the company he works for. He's part of the family. So he's earnt the right to say "We" in my opinion :)
@strandwolf Remember what was going on in the early 50's.... the beginnings of Television.. Telecasts.... The whole "Broadcaster... Telecaster..." thing was based on that emerging technology.
Hello Premier Guitar,I love the mag and I love the videos also but,why is your video and audio sometimes so sketchy?I love the content on all your media, I don`t think the other mags cover the items that you do.I would hope that with all the high end equipment that you review and test that just maybe you might be able to get a good video system together for all the writers and interviewers that do the location shots. Please don`t get me wrong I`m a huge fan and I`m just saying, take care...
Christ... that girl looks really familiar.

strandwolf 2 years ago
@strandwolf ---telecaster means shape of the body and neck of the guitar. not the pickup configuration man! peace!
