@actuary33 i don´t really thing it was just his pain and anger. he knew what´s going to happen, when humans find out about mutants. he wanted to avoid the suffering of his own kind, while charles was just very idealistic and naive (as he is even when he gets old) thinking that he can somehow make humans accept them. but yes the rage was one of the biggest aspects when it comes to magneto leaving charles. but they could have been amazing together. it´s sad that their relationship changed so much.
