For some reason, this scene reminds me of the scene in the movie "528491" where Robert Fischer watches his father, Maurice Fischer die. Marion Cotillard was also in Inception. Coincidence? Je ne pense pas. (I think not.)
i'm not taking credit away from the rest of the movie, specially the last part where she is walking and shaking but, for me, this 4 minutes with 39 seconds, have her the Oscar!
This scene made me cry in the cinema ( along with everybody else) and every time I watch this it gives me goose bumps! When I heard Marion won the Oscar I went out and told everyone who was interested and tears of happiness flowed!! Marion deserved this Oscar so much....
She moves your emotion up and further away until the memory of the lost replaces the emotion and tears shreds of the viewer's heart up. An absolutely sublime piece of art. Unbelievable, solid grief. Fantastic!
