  • Wow, this really makes me see the Steam Age in a whole different light.

Say, could I possibly borrow some of your steam engine clips for use in my model series?

  • @petersam4 if you like

  • Steam locomotive are just so very lovely they really are like a living thing some times.

  • The music makes it sad, and reprisents the terrrible fate for the locos, diesels should be scrapped while the glorious steam engine lives on

  • It's this sort of thing that makes you appreciate steam even more, knowing that people just dropped such majesty for evolution. I found the abandoned station around 2:00 to 3:00 the most depressing. It was so haunting, yet so beautiful.

  • what was the engine at the end?

  • i love the music, it represents the end of the glorious age of steam.

also, that engine at the end, i've seen it somewhere before, it's either american or..... i think it might be Australian? it looks very.... 60's, that sort of Retropunk that will always look cool.

  • @mattmanganon you are correct, it is the famous 3801 of the award winning film,

    'A steam train passes'.

  • Rare, eh? Very nice!

  • first view and first comment. such a great vid!
