i totally agree. the mac lady suggested this for me during hot australian summer, after i told her i had combination skin. I had to retouch this foundation every 10 seconds because it literally melted off my face. It was my biggest make up buying regret. Awful stuff.

ecery video i watch on the studio sculpt, they say that it's bad it breaks them out. But I decided to try it. When i went to mac they told me the foundation needs to be used with a moisturizer. They have to be mixed in together for the foundation to blend. I think I can blend it better with a sponge I use the beauty blender whicic is awsome. But I've been using it and it works for me. They just said if you dont mix it in with a moisturzer it wont work. But thanks for the info. YOUR AWSOME!

I really like the sculpt foundation! But then again I have really dry skin due to the antibiotic acne lotion I have to put on my skin so the 'oilyness' of this foundation is great for my dryer than dry skin. I used to use the Studio fix fluid which was ok for my skin but the sculpt is far better and my face no longer has that dandruff look lol

BTW, my mac store lady said mac didn't do a 109 brush and that I must have mixed my numbers up....

Your Mac lady obviously has no idea what she is talking about. Mac DOES make a 109 brush. It's called the small contour face brush!! You can find it on their website. Don't go back to that lady and ask for help from someone who knows the products that they are selling. Hope that helps. The 109 is fabulous for foundation application.

I TOTALLY agree with your opinion! SSF & SSC are terrible! And here in Belgium there is no refund thing! How ridiculous! There goes 45euro's (thats about 57$) and I'm a teenager so that's absolutely not fiar =( I was sooo excited I thought I found a miracle product and I came home and I was SO mad!! It probably didn't sit well with your moisturiser, depends on the oil content. But I love my Select SPF15 Foundation but wouldn't use it with an oil free moisturiser as it would cake as you described. And you have the most gorgeous eyes!

Personally, I really like the new Studio Sculpt foundation (haven't tried the concealer yet). I also had to try different ways to apply it. Like Mr Nickel said with a brush it justs sits on the skin. I have the best results when I simply apply it with my fingers, the gel texture melts under the warmth of my fingers and makes it disappear into my skin. The result is natural and I can built up where needed, tough I would recommend another foundation for people who like more coverage.

I returned the Studio Sculpt concealer today, and I am so disappointed. The concealer was my first MAC purchase, and I cannot believe what rubbish it is! I didn't conceal a single thing on my face. It is not like I have bad skin. I don't have any acne; I just have under eye circles. I would return the foundation but I would not know what to replace it with, whether I should buy MAC again or just go back to drugstore brands. Very disappointed in MAC!!!

It seemed to blend and cover better the first couple times I used it.  It's starting to break me out too, which I'd heard happened to a lot of other people. Mineral makeup face serving size + aloe blob + a few drops of extra virgin olive oil. Its great for around the house as it takes care of inflammation/dryness too. Try it! :)

Studio Sculpt Foundation turned brassy on me. It the same shade that I normally wear but it looked greasy and orange and kind of clumpy. I didn't like it much. As for the concealer, it's okay but I need more coverage than what it offers. Thanks so much for the review. : ) Love your vids.
