  • Thats great, man. awesome looking plants.

  • Help: I live in an apartment, so my jalepeno plant is on the balcony of my apartment. I have it in a large container and I used Miracle Grow potting soil to which I put the plant in. The plant is approximately 4ft tall but the are only a few blossoms on it and needless to say that it has not produced any peppers. Why? What am I doing wrong? It has ample sunlight and I check to whether to water them or not. I just don't know that I am doing wrong.

  • @msucds1 I'm far from an expert, but pollination may be a factor and also sunlight. Shake the plant some when flowering to help pollination (bees or such insects will also help). I would try more sunlight (if possible) and water it a bit less. Mine seem to like to dry out a bit, and i've also heard dryer conditions make hotter peppers. Container gardening with these peppers is a little different than what i'm doing. I'd research it on the web and you'll find some good answers. Best of Luck

  • you need some naga's there :)

  • cool..!

  • nice garden

  • is it true that peppers need a more acidic soil then most plants? any fertilizers you use on these?

  • @phrygian360 I'm not sure on the acidity of the soil, they grow great here in Oklahoma with no soil additives or fertilizers.

  • Awesome! I have some of the same Purple peppers you have, where I bought them they called them "Black Cuban" what ever. All my pepers came out fantastic, was a great year for them, cannot say so for the Tomatoes. Either groundhog got them or they rotted before they ripend. Great job!

  • Fantastic looking garden. You really have a green thumb (or is it a red thumb when raising peppers?) -- Your peppers look amazing. It is so great that you are willing to share your garden with us pepper lovers via YouTube so we can all enjoy such a beautiful spectacle.

    Great job. Thanks so much!

  • Hey Lee, Your peppers are doing great. I can't wait to taste your new salsa (hint, hint). I swear, you make the best salsa on this planet. The super chili plant you gave me is loaded.

    Ron
