I got so excited when i saw there was a Biggy Rat video. I thought someone had put up an old video of my mom. She was Biggy Rat from the start until the band ended in the mid 80's. Others went on to other bands such as Poobah, etc. but my mother stuck with Biggy Rat. She was known as Biggy Rat until the day she died. This is very upsetting that she was not even mentioned. My whole family is just mortified by this.

I have wrote many times on your Mom with Biggy Rat...seen her so many times with Jim Gustafson,she was truly a great vocalist. Didnt mean to exclude her,she was very cool! God Bless her!

THIS IS NOT BIGGY RAT!!! It hurts my heart that these guys are doing this and probably never even bothered to mention my mother, SHIRLIANN SHANK, who was the lead singer from this group's inception until it's death in the 80's. Way to capitalize Gus, like you don't get enough attention with your own band.

@skyefawn Shannon, this was not a planned reunion. It was 3 guys who had not seen each other for decades, and happened to all be at the same event one night.

Your Mom was mentioned that evening, Who could forget her? She was great. This was just 3 friends getting together by chance.

We wish she was there. We loved her.

We did not post this, other fun loving prople did .

They meant no disrespect. The 3 of us actually played a few shows before we met her, as Biggy Rat. We miss her.

I would go to some lake for night concerts, early seventies, to see these guys. Maybe it was Myers.

Wow.  I just thought of this name and googled it. I recall these guys playing at a popular club by Myers Lake in physcho sixties. The singer made such weird faces my girlfriend passed out and slid under our table. Great, great band !

Biggy Rat reunion? I recognize Jim. Who are the others? I remember Scott Hunter, Steve, and Shirley. I wonder where what ever happened to them?

Shirley passed away ,and the video is original members,Jim "Poobah"Gustafson,Scott Hunter,and Gary Dipasquale.Steve R. replaced Gary when he dropped out.

This was filmed at Rockfest 2008 in Youngstown,Ohio area.

@skyefawn This was not planned. No rehearsal, just a jam, and others asked us to get up and play a few songs.

It just so happened to be the original 3 guys, who asked your mom to join our band, and what a great singer she was. We played a few shows with another singer, before we met her , as Biggy Rat, and when we met her, we added her immediately, and dropped the other guy.The band got very popular after that, so it looked like we made a good choice.
