Do you remember if this flight directly flies over Lahore? from Amritsar or routes around ?? as Lahore's only about 60kms from ATQ ??? nice video ;) pretty clear day to be flying... last time I landed in ATQ it was quite foggy in winter

@d351z yeh it does fly over Lahore.....ow when its winter you cannot see much at all especially when landing or taking off in India as the the fog blocks all view. Lahore comes very quick when taking off from ATQ, you can see the roads in Lahore, Pakistan when landing at ATQ because the plane decends much early before getting near to India

I've never used Amritsar Airport, but I want to due to it being closer to Phagwara than Delhi Airport is to Phagwara. For now I use Delhi Airport. I'm gonna fly to this airport someday

@JASPREET42 As for Distance Amritsar Airport is only 2 hours drive away from Phagwara, Delhi is a mission to go and come back......Flying to Amritsar is good in a way as the Airport Facilities are up to standard and clean but if you want to fly on a good flight Delhi is the main option as the better /standard flights fly to Delhi....cheaper flights fly to Amritsar so there is a push between both options......ps. by the way Phagwara is my home town as well :)

@LAKOPUNJABI it's just that Amritsar needs more flights, if Lufthansa, British Airways or Emirates flies to Amritsar I would start using Amritsar Airport...by the way my hometown isn't Phagwara, I live in San Jose, California, USA...Phagwara is where my nana, nani, massi and some cousins live, and my dads parents are in Chandigarh...i like Phagwara better though.

That takeoff was a pretty level takeoff never seen anything like it before.

deepaji air india is nothing to worry about. you'll find it much better than the service you'll get on turkmenistan or uzbekistan etc. the inflight is much better than what you get on trk/uzb. even though they turn the inflight tv's/maps off after a while. but the staff attitude is well okay. the departure times can delay abit.

Hows A.I performance for amritsar to UK. I have heard they are not performing well. Let me know please i am going to Punjab soon if it is a good option or not. Its in flight service and landing and departure timings etc
