AH the good not-so-ol' days before Tolstoy discovered who he was and became TOLSTOY. I have been watching your videos since your Game Boy Micro review (a week after it was uploaded) and I was hooked since and you were one of the few ppl I subbed on youtube including Bigal2k6, Erikmansuper, Ericstrifflervids, the AVGN and the Irate gamer (I remember them all) but dude hope you get through what ever problems that you have and you can keep entertrtaining your fans for many years to come (or weeks)

I watched it with little info as well....heard ppl talking about it saw many figures relating to it(I later bought said figures)...I had some time and finally watched it and can safely say I want to watch it again not only to see the bits I missed while being too pre occupied with the subs (I don't like english dubbed versions) but because it draws you in. I'm not sure I got what I was expecting but in the same time I liked what I got.

In case you still don't get it - authors sometimes appear in their own works as surrogate reflections of themselves. An example would be Hunter S. Thompson appearing as a barely distinguishable version of himself via the character Raoul Duke. That's the entire point - that the persona being presented is sometimes thinly veiled and not altogether different from the real person. He isn't directly comparing himself to Thompson, and its got nothing to do with ego.
