Funny that they used the 'wrong' version of the anthem. This is the 1977 version, instead of the 1944 version (Stalin is not mentioned)

Well the anthem was adopted in 1944 by the USSR, so before that it wasn't officially used I guess. But it is written in 1939 so it isn't that inappropriate. :P

There is no flag class, they simply photoshop a guy with a rifle in pose, then removed the gun and used a photo of an HQ flag, crop the pole and placed it into the soldiers hands.

Just clear something up. Russia is not the Soviet Union. The Russian Socialist Republic was only one of many constituent states of the USSR. Also, Only about 60% of the population of the USSR were ethnically Russian.
