This entire battle can be replicated legitimately, although I do not know if this file gained the items legitimately.
Megiddo always does damage equal to a regular attack (after factoring in Venus power & resistance) times three. Legend does damage equal to a regular attack plus 73 points of damage before factoring in Jupiter power and resistance, but there's a 50% chance that the damage will be tripled (as illustrated by either one or three swords shooting out of the purple circle thingy).
Lol when I fough him, Isaac, Garet, Ivan and Mia were all level 99 and when you take out the first two heads if you have anyone 90+ in your party he uses Cruel Ruin on every turn...it's a bitch
@Zioxan It doesn't really take that long. I found the best way was to prowl the dungeon and wait till you encounter a pair of them. Just keep killing them off one by one until they both end up fleeing. I kept doing that, and once got over 100k exp out of the battle.

lol, sorry for the time but I didn't know you answered me until today XD I know about unleash rate boosting items, what I meant was: How many times did you have to try unless all Legends dealt TRIPLE damage? Legend deals triple damage only 60% of a time, 8 out of 9 is MUCH easier then getting Excalibur from Sunshine (which is really hard to get in first few tries). Also, items grant you max 94% (99% for one lucky man with Valkyrie Mail)
I discovered a mistake in you Gamefaqs walkthrough: You listed that for Ivan to become Necromage in the final battle he needed 3 Mercury Djinn, 3 Mars Djinn, and 3 Jupiter Djinn. The mistake is that as you said before, he needed 3 Venus Djinn instead of Jupiter Djinn.

3 excaliburs? you should have got the sol blade, I think its in the mars light house and then unleash the megido (I think thats what its called) move on it.
Read the description. You don't need to have a level 99 party. The only concrete level restriction is that Ivan needs to be level 47 to use Call Dullahan. You can easily get him to that level in an hour or so of training at the Sea of Time Islet cave (fight Wonder Birds and finish them with Mercury Djinn; it'll give you 10k+ exp per kill).
Sorry, no hack! XD Piers got a single sword. And like mentioned before you only need 3x triple sword for the first turn. Doom Dragon's HP is less each turn.
As far as I can tell, it shoots out 3 Swords unless the first sword would kill the enemy the attack is used on.
For example, if an enemy has 300 HP left and each sword would do 320 damage, only one sword would be fired as that one is enough to kill the enemy. Saves time.
for that i can say that is was only a very good luck, cause i think that the chance of doin triple damage is 50%...have u played ragnarok?...like parrying blocking asura lol XD

Mithril Clothes - 15% / Valkerie Mail - 20% critical
Riot Gloves - 20% critical
35 + 12 + 12 + 20 + 20 = 99
35 + 12 + 12 + 15 + 20 = 94
I get 99% critical with Isaac (Valkerie Mail) and 94% critical with everyone else (Mithril Clothes). It's VERY possible to land that many unleashes consecutively.
Also may I point out that you only need all three unleashes in the first round. Doom Dragon's HP drops with each fight meaning that 2 Unleashes + Dullahan + a good attack will kill him as well! So, technically you need only 3 + 2 + 2 = 7 Criticals out of 12 attacks!

Doom Dragon is weak against Wind and Strong against Earth. "Legend" is wind elemental and can do triple damage, meaning that it does more damage on these levels. Otherwise I would have used it.
Also, that's how with that equipment, the Sol Blade's unleash is unleashed 99% of the time... maybe it holds true with the Excalibur too? Again, I may run some tests on my own, not to prove anyone right or wrong, but to use that to my advantage in my party!

It's possible with good luck, but if you have nothing but Mythril Helms, Riot Gloves, and Hyper Boots, or any other equipment that raises criticals, your unleash rate is WAY higher! The 1 or 3 attacks from each unleash though... Idn if that's luck based or not... I'll have to see l8r, but so far I'm only at around Lv. 65 on my real GBA...
Sorry to disappoint you but no cheats were used to mod this battle. As stated in the description you only need good equipment and levels 90+. That's all. People are so ignorant thinking that this strat is cheated. I say "XD" to those!
On the Master Class your character's ATK goes up to 170% and it increases Wind power as you need Jupiter Djinn to get in that class, hence you get 999 ATK. See the descriptions for statistic screens.
I optimized every parameter you can take into account; ATK, Djinn setup, Weapon Unleash and exploited the Dragon's weakness to wind with Excalibur & Dullahan. (maybe I should have made that more explicit) That's why I called it Total Pwnage, not just because it was defeated in three turns.
It's nothing special if you have a set of Riot Gloves, Mythril Helms & Hyper Boots for all characters. This boosts their unleash rates to extreme values (btw. luck doesn't matter at all). Next to that the possibility of missing an unleash is also the reason that I put Ivan in the team, his Dullahan is weaker than then "Legend", but it does constant damage. Know your game!
Not even half as much. Doom Dragon is very resistant to earth elemental attacks. He is however very weak against wind, therefore the Excalibur is much better here. Megiddo will do only little damage, that is why it is suggested NOT to use that Sol Blade here.

Doom Dragon was slower than any of the other characters, and when a head dies, the dragon doesn't attack anyway. It's sort of like using Lull.

You pretty much give the character three types of dijinn, which DO NOT include the type in which the Dijinn is the same type as the Adept.
For example:
If it were Isaac, give him three fire djinn, three wind dijinn and three water dijinn.
If it were Mia, giver her three earth dijinn, three fire dijinn, and three water dijinn.

Even with a level 99 party, it's pretty easy to die if you're fighting against Dullahan. However, Doom Dragon is much easier with level 99s.

Sol Blade / Excalibur - 35% critical
Hyper Boots - 12% critical
Mithril Helm - 12% critical
Mithril Clothes - 15% / Valkerie Mail - 20% critical
Riot Gloves - 20% critical
35 + 12 + 12 + 20 + 20 = 99
35 + 12 + 12 + 15 + 20 = 94
I get 99% critical with Isaac (Valkerie Mail) and 94% critical with everyone else (Mithril Clothes). It's VERY possible to land that many unleashes consecutively.

Also may I point out that you only need all three unleashes in the first round. Doom Dragon's HP drops with each fight meaning that 2 Unleashes + Dullahan + a good attack will kill him as well! So, technically you need only 3 + 2 + 2 = 7 Criticals out of 12 attacks!

thnx to this vid i beat doom dragon wit isaac-40 has excalibur, felix-43 has sol blade , piers- 42 has excalibur , and jenna to heal and she is lvl 40 has a burning sword

well, the unleashes are based on criticals I think. I have a bunch of hyper boots, but not riot gloes. they probably both raise critical percentage.

Doom Dragon is weak against Wind and Strong against Earth. "Legend" is wind elemental and can do triple damage, meaning that it does more damage on these levels. Otherwise I would have used it.

ok, then there would be a slight yet neccesary damage difference, without which the head of the doom dragon would not die in a turn, am i mistaken?
even though the sol blade has higher summon rate than the excalibur, in this case the excalibur's unleash is more effective...

Also, that's how with that equipment, the Sol Blade's unleash is unleashed 99% of the time... maybe it holds true with the Excalibur too? Again, I may run some tests on my own, not to prove anyone right or wrong, but to use that to my advantage in my party!

It's possible with good luck, but if you have nothing but Mythril Helms, Riot Gloves, and Hyper Boots, or any other equipment that raises criticals, your unleash rate is WAY higher! The 1 or 3 attacks from each unleash though... Idn if that's luck based or not... I'll have to see l8r, but so far I'm only at around Lv. 65 on my real GBA...

Sorry to disappoint you but no cheats were used to mod this battle. As stated in the description you only need good equipment and levels 90+. That's all. People are so ignorant thinking that this strat is cheated. I say "XD" to those!

On the Master Class your character's ATK goes up to 170% and it increases Wind power as you need Jupiter Djinn to get in that class, hence you get 999 ATK. See the descriptions for statistic screens.

I optimized every parameter you can take into account; ATK, Djinn setup, Weapon Unleash and exploited the Dragon's weakness to wind with Excalibur & Dullahan. (maybe I should have made that more explicit) That's why I called it Total Pwnage, not just because it was defeated in three turns.

It's nothing special if you have a set of Riot Gloves, Mythril Helms & Hyper Boots for all characters. This boosts their unleash rates to extreme values (btw. luck doesn't matter at all). Next to that the possibility of missing an unleash is also the reason that I put Ivan in the team, his Dullahan is weaker than then "Legend", but it does constant damage. Know your game!

Not even half as much. Doom Dragon is very resistant to earth elemental attacks. He is however very weak against wind, therefore the Excalibur is much better here. Megiddo will do only little damage, that is why it is suggested NOT to use that Sol Blade here.
