theres good heavy metal bands. but they are definitely all more underground now. there are people who feel the same way who are in bands. but they just aren't getting the credit they deserve. instead it's the shitty hot topic metal that grosses me out. maybe good metal will end up back in the spot light like it should be. everything gets recycled. everyone will get sick of shitty "metal" soon enough

@dontforgettoshred Heavy Metal then and Heavy Metal now are two different things and in fact I'm sure what you're calling "Heavy Metal today" isn't in fact Heavy Metal at all. All genre's of music tend to eventually influence several sub-genres as now we have things like Alternative Metal, Nu Metal, etc etc.
