She's insane, murderous, and downright creepy. You have to remember that she was locked up in Azkaban for many years. It was mentioned in the HP book series that many prisoners in Azkaban go crazy after being there for a short while. Ok? so stop hating on my Bellatrix!!!

I HATE Helena Bonham-Carter's hammy unconvincing Bellatrix. She clearly didn't take it seriously or put it any thought. She puts on a stupid voice and acts all common, cheeky and lascivious. I mean I know it was for time and everything but I think they ended up cutting some really important parts for 'time', including a coule of pretty important Bellatrix parts. I would've loved HBC to be double-cast as Andromeda... But they just cut her out. Without ANY knowledge of her, then Bellatrix is going after Tonks for no reason... Tonks, who barely got any scenes in the first place. AND all the Tonks/Remus stuff, which made it worse...

@thefrickandfrackshow Harry shoots Crucio at Bellatrix in the book and it hurts her a small amount enough to make her stumble and land on the floor but yes, she does tease him for not being able to perform it properly. The same thing happens in the film except she doesn't tease him.

@thefrickandfrackshow Harry shoots Crucio at Bellatrix in the book and it hurts her a small amount enough to make her stumble and land on the floor but yes, she does tease him for not being able to perform it properly. The same thing happens in the film except she doesn't tease him.

i think there should've been a stand off between Bella and Sirius instead of her appearing out of nowhere screaming "avada cadavra!".....Just my opinion. I think It would've made more sense.

Love Helena!!!!She was the best choice they could have ever made for Bella! She is the right balance of sadistic and beauty. I loved Helena in Doves and couldn't wait to see her in my HP's. She makes Bella seem like a real person and not jsut a nutcase. I love Bellatrix Black! She is the badest witch out there! So wished that this would've stayed in the movie!!!!

I think people are mistaken by taking the actors as the original characters.
There is NOTHING nice about Bellatrix Lestrange.
Saying you love her doesn't mean you love Helen Bonham Carter nor viceversa.
