Well, you see, the thing is, his dair adds momentum. It doesn't cancel all momentum. Therefore, when you fastfalled the dair, you had more downwards momentum than the dair gave you upwards, although it is rather strange that you would actually move that much down. Anyways, kind of stupid for me to be posting on such an old video, anyways. Hope this somehow helps!
Its not to recover at all. I personally use this for attacking. You can spread them out while going up or coming down (first and second hit of the dair).
Yeah uh, I use this for attacking too you know, ofcourse it's not a recover, it's an attack. But it can be somewhat helping to stay in the air if your oppoment is trying to stop your recover(it can also be a counter). If you understand what I'm saying.

Delfino sounds so cool in slow motion.

From what I've seen it never really stops your momentum, just slows it a lot.

with me, I get shot up and almost killed out of the screen and i try d-air. the hit stun, I'm guessing, made me keep going.

Glitch? Nah I don't think so, just a small thing you noticed.
PS: I knew about this the first time I performed it. It sorta helps you recover, not really, just gives you another second on what to do to recover.

Lucario is not supposed to descend while doing his D-air.
JeepySol 3 years ago
Actually, it has happened to me a couple times using Lucario. He randomly descends while doing D-air.
